I've started with my idea for shades, although I've just modelled a single one. Not very into the hobby right now - my painting skills sucks too much.. Filed down all the scales on the cloak and filled up a little with GS. Then used GS to turn the breastplate on both the chest and legs into a tatter...

This looks pretty similar to a greater daemon, no? ^^'
I think any lesser daemons of Khaine could look pretty similar to Khorne's.. or maybe a bit more slender and cruelly cold rather than buff and brutal. But as said, why would he need daemons when he has the Dark elves? :3

Sorry, the post was a bit impulsive.
Yes, swedish folk-dresses.
But what's really silly is the midsummer festivities, when they're supposed to be worn

Since it is your first post here - welcome Well, there are a lot of topics with these discussions already.. but I myself would use shields on the warriors - they are worth the cost, as long as you don't face armies consisting of S4 or higher attacks only. They are great to tool up as well the banner...

In the last edition, most DE core units weren't really worth their point cost so a lot of players only used Dark riders as their core units. And they can be really annoying - they can be used as bait, screening, killing off lone characters and warmachines.. plus how annoying fast cavalry-shooters ar...

Well, since this thread's alraedy been necromanced and I couldn't find any other threads about it... I'm trying to start a Path to glory campaign up, but the newer rules for every race don't seem to be very balanced. Has anyone tried to create a Druchii warband (or any warband with these rules)? If ...

It's up to the natives of Naggaroth to provide with the complete texts of the traditional, original carols. However I will try to introcuce bits of it hereafter. Oh, the sweet songs of christmas. Thank you for sharing a bit of the culture across the world. You should come to Norsca, a great place f...

Great idea, Calisson. : D but the original lyrics would be great enough with the twist, wouldn't it? You better watch out You better not cry You better not pout (what does it mean, really?) and I'm telling you why Sacrifice is coming to town! Khaine's making a list and he's checking it twice; Gonna ...

The 6th editions fluff is probably the best I've ever read.. but it lost all its strength for me when I realized how weak the DE were to, say, the HE when it came to the rules. It made Furion sound like a naive fool who'd never fought for his life, and even if it was entertaining to read him explain...

Played a just-for-fun game some weeks ago with Dwarves(a friend) vs. 6th ed. Empire (me), just to get in touch with gaming once again. Not having played with wizards for such a long time, I went for having two of them. He stood still with handgunners and bolt throwers, waiting for me to attack. The ...

Hi. I'm not much of a fluff-writer myself either but I gradly help out with rules and playtesting. First, I really want the heavy-hitters to become reduced. DE are about speed and hitting hard, right? My idea of a CoP-army is loosening up the killy part a bit for the Slaaneshi-part of psychological ...
