The conversions are quite nice. THe lower halves for me definitely need more armour and ornate armour at that. Also, the biggest thing about using those bottom halves, is do something with the feet. They look wrong. The weapons don't look elegant enough for an elf to wield. Cheers, Malachi

Have you thought about using the Mordheim figure, the thing in the woods?

With a little work it could be done. Would have to be lengthened a bit and then have some GS work done but possible.

I would also agree with the advice of pinning. For me I pin everything regardelss of weight. Also, to finish off once pinned and glued, I use GS to seal and make seemless the two pieces I have put together. It seems to make things stick together.

One suggestion is to make some GS 'bubbles'. This would give dynamism to the bases it self and add nicely to the models overall.

The conversion is nice and simple, which IMO make the best ones. However, I feel that until you convert the HE mail into DE mail it will be a HE carrying a DE sword.

The painting is WIP but the above comments are noteworthy.
