I second that.
If it was such a bad game, why play? Why even join a forum dedicated to one of the races in said game?

We just use the 40k rules for vehicles as a guide. Even big monsters can appreciate cover.

Love it!

I love my core troops, especially my dread spears. Why? Because I like the spectacle of warhammer, I play for fun and love seeing my big units of painted core advancing across the table. People also underestimate the dread spears.

I use this stuff...

Really good, and you can use it on plastic with no damage. I once soaked some Bretonian knights for a week, and the were all good.

Not too hard on the pocket either (or your skin)

Re: Warhammer Fortress

Finally it has arrived! After a frenzy of activity, and a pile of plastic shavings on the couch which I will in no doubt get in trouble for from the wife, the beast is assembled. In a fortunate turn of events GW incompetence has worked in my favor and I received an extra section of wall that I did n...

Re: Slaanesh Marines, can they work?

I've been thinking about this too actually. I reckon they would have a pretty good chance of being successful. Let just take a minute to think about I5 assault troops like raptors and warp talons... Coupled with nasty long range attacks. It would be a case of finding the balance is all.

Re: Warhammer Fortress

Update: Despite many promises from GW that it will be sent and arrive in the next shipment, I am still without my fortress. I feel kinda sorry for Allan, the manager at Takapuna Vagabond, each time I call he tells me that GW have promised its on the way then proceeds to apologise to me. Not your fau...

Re: New Models vs Old Models

I too really like the 6th ed range. Except for the coldones, the knights are cool but the beasts themselves........ I personally like to mix the models in my units, just for variety. My witch elves contain 4th and 6th ed, oh, and one 5th ed. Have a look at my army in my sig as it contains a range of...

Warhammer Fortress

So, a couple of weeks before Xmas I finally bit the bullet and ordered this... m Also ordered an extra wall section so I can make a decent castle not just a square. Anyhow, I finally here back from the retailer today and he tells me that GW no longer actually sell it as a complete kit, only the comp...

So much good advice coming in, and who says Druchii are uncaring? Just a question, what brushes are you using? When I first started painting I used synthetic, when I switched to proper brushed it made a vast difference. They can be expensive but good brushes will last a long time if properly cared f...

I ended up taking the second land raider. He had two leman Russ, two leman Russ variants ( the ones with the horrendous Gatling gun) and two chimera, three infantry and a squad of ogryns. The ogryns caused me the biggest pain, man they are tough! Loved using two Land Raiders! Might start doing it mo...
