I take my SS Death- IMHO it is nice lore against weak heroes and wizards, low-In hordes and warmachines (Purple Sun), can debuff very well (especially -3LD) and, of course, channell many free PD

I also like Death lore more than Shadow. Moreover Death lore includes very good hexes -1S and -1T spell, -3LD<--(I LIKE IT !)
and Purple Sun IMHO more perspective and destructive than Pit of Shades.
I advise you BSB on Cold One with Hydra Banner- with COB, COK become very angry

Cauldron is warmachine, so it can't join other units

Magic supremacy actually isn't that hard to achieve against Dwarves, and it makes all the difference. Power of the Darkness + Sacrificial Dagger can still overwhelm Dwarf magic defense, and a unit of Black Guard, Cold One Knights or Corsairs supported with Lore of Shadow has worked very well for me...

IMO Corsairs with SSS are better than Warriors (attacks, cloaks, ITP). Also 20 Corsairs are very nice unit for Watchtower.
