Hmmm, good discussion all. I'm juggline between juggling the hydra or taking another unit of warlocks and more shades.

Although i understand the benefits of keeping the hydra, would i not benefit more boosting my shade units in numbers?

Yep, the usual bus has a master and a Dreadlord. Also, a cheap lvl 1-2 sorceress in there with beasts Signature spell also is viable. This makes them very lethal. I've seen a lot of people use the CoT with the master build also.

Strong looking list indeed, however, in my experience 15 executioners could easily get ripped apart before ever seeing combat. at this lvl i would take shades, thats just me. multi-purpose unit, love them too much. but i understand your bolt thrower in there, i use 3-4 myself and they win me games

In my experience, you either take at least 2 bolt throwers or its none. I'd recommend dropping the bolt thrower and 2 darkshards and getting 5 shades + AHW. More shots and you can deploy closer with them.

For my pegmasters I usually run 1 with CoT and lance, if I'm not using a dreadpeg then my other peg lord will use halberd+ AoD for extra survival as he's usually the BSB. This way I'm not too scared to send my CoT pegmasters on more dangerous errands. Lances are good also, but it's all about the cha...

Well, i won the game turn 4. Shooting took his K-beast out turn one with my darkshards and bolties. He also had Lokhir felheart with 20 corsairs, Darkshards, a Lvl 2, 8 Doomfires and Morathi.
