hah, maybe i should start using that hydra now well, to me the hydra is clearly a monster handled by some sort of packmasters, so it goes under the skirmish department. yay, skirmish monster that can ignore ranks and breath fire after marching, imagine running through a forest to blast some random u...

Status report, all minis now assembled. gotta say, the box is very well worth it, the sculpts are pretty nice, though the slayer(s) look pretty crap. the moulds were a bit weak but nothing new from GW. Favourite models are definitely the gobbo boss with the squig, the miners and the spider riders. t...

ermm, isn't that head exactly the juggernaut head? head headplate but it seems it's primed white/light grey but it sure ain't no squiggoth head but for the rest of the model one wild guess i had first that the main body was based on a chimera chassis but i'm not so sure anymore. anyways, the convers...

Hagaroth, again with a small grin, pointed his assistants to deliver his answer to Lady Moriquendi. He will accept this challenge, it will be interesting to watch this savage battle the weakling asur. Hagaroth sipped his wine and sniggered to himself.... Hagaroth the Cold accepts Lady Moriquendi's ...

heh, i should probably say something witty now as to fulfil your witty proverb-request but as usual it'll just be something not special. i don't really need to say goodbye, it's not like we even met through the forums that much, the chat is still the place where i'll be seeing you. heh, i still kind...

MDK, you know the weapons that marine chaplains have? well, they are called crozius..ses (plural?). well, the accursed crozius is just a chaotic version of it. daemonic, take a look at all the banner trophies available to FB chaos, maybe you could sort some bits from there? just some mace with lots ...

6 sentinels is fine i think, i once thought of having 3 squads of 2 sentis but i'd say 2 units of 3 would work. oh, and i forgot about the vox, sorry about that. dunno about the HQ special weapon squad, imho the ability to infiltrate is soo useful for special weapon toting squads, so the veterans co...

looks kinda nice, a bit different considering how you've used your fast attack choices...btw, that list would be illegal with one force organisation chart. you only have 3 FA slots and only one unit of sentinels can be taken with the command HQ. as the maximum amount of sentinels in one squad is 3, ...

1) from what i've heard ogryns really aren't worth it, too expensive or something...? 2)iron discipline and other LD modifying doctrines are good, also using points to allow some specific troops are also quite mandatory if you use doctrines. veterans is quite good, as it allows you to take more than...

IG are a very adept force indeed and can be played in many different ways from what i've gathered. oh, the russians are called vostroyans, just to make sure about the points, 1,5k is the usual tournie points limit but 1850 points also seem to be popular. IG infantry are quite good for some fire supp...

i'm from finland so my vote goes to finland. statistically finland has done much better in this tournie than sweden but it's the finals, so statistics don't really mean jack. the way i see it both teams are atm playing at their highest level and the final can go both ways. but one thing is for sure,...

looks quite solid, fairly strong magic base + some decent shooting. a bit similar to what i've planned for 1,5k but not quite. and on the question of corsairs, maybe 12 warriors with shields could be more useful? if you can keep them 4*3 they are quite good at combo-charges, especially with chariots...

one good trick is to use them as cheap rat darts. take 2 regiments of 2 pakcs and 2 packmasters and just run them up the flank. their only mission is to bust ranks and the numbers are there they'll do that even after a few casualties. something like this: p = packmaster g = giant rat ggggggp ggggggp...

expendable units are great baits. like jazz said you could take some cheap marauders and just stick them in the front of a knights unit, directing their charge and then slamming a hitter down the units flank. otherwise it looks pretty solid, though i know how effective those fiends of slaneesh can b...
