Re: DRUCHII.NET SECRET SANTA
That's very funny and cool.
Maybe put it on a 40mm base though so your recipient can drop it in as a unit filler in a non-harpy unit? I can imagine her dancing in the middle of a Black Guard unit ...
You could even have some gold coins scattered around her feet as tips from patrons.

Re: Dark Elves and Lore of Nehekhara
What I have learned on this forum though is that while the intent can be obvious for any sane player you can never prove you are right and conclude your case with any certainty and definitiveness. Although intent may seem obvious in some cases, there are lots of times I have seen people claim that ...

It's in Warhammer:Nagash and everyone can use it.
As to the original question, that's a really odd situation and I don't have all the relevant books so I'm not sure I am qualified to comment.

Re: Paints for my DE army
I use mostly P3 paints these days. In large part, it's because you get more paint per pot than Citadel. I do use the Citadel Shades though -- I think they are the best pre-mixed shading washes out there (I used to make my own with inks and acrylic medium).

Re: AoW shadows AND vestals/witch elfs
OMG! Didn't you guys buy these like a year ago? Fail! Yes, the delay sucks. But ... They are still 35 Euro for 30 models. In US terms, that's about $45 and they are providing free shipping worldwide right now, so it's $1.50 per model in US terms. Compare to the GW price of $60 for 10 models ($180 t...

Don't eat yellow snow.
But seriously ... What do you have most of in your army? Some kind of Khainite temple thing could be cool for a bunch of witch elves and execs. Large flagstones with engraved runes.

Re: Large units of Crossbows
I've used a unit of 30 but not larger. The main thing about them is that the unit becomes very expensive. With shields, they become a good multi-purpose unit that can melt a lot of other stuff before it even gets to your lines. Also, If you deploy 3 deep to maximize ranks and HTH attacks, you do los...

Thank you.
Is each stone on a wall an individual piece of foam? Or did you glue sheet foam to the wall then cut between the stones?

Re: A Non-GW Minotaur
It is a really cool model. The Minotaur is separate from the the base so you could put it on a square base if you wanted to use it for Warhammer. With the woodland theme and round base I think it could also work as a Warbeast in a Circle army for WarmaHordes.

A Non-GW Minotaur
I hadn't painted anything in a while, but broke out the brush recently and painted a random model I had lying around. It's a piece from Scibor Monstrous Minatures that looks very cool. Not really something that I can use in a Warhammer army, so I'm just going to display him, but I was very happy how...

Re: whats the most common thing to use for a pegasus for DE
what does every DE player do for Pegasus models, the lame looking brettonian ones? The plastic Bret pegasus models actually work well ... with modification. 1) Use a rotary tool or craft knife to remove all the Bretonnian-style details. Specifically, the shields and Fleur de Lys. You can make dangl...

I'm not so sure about this. The initial releases are for Nurgle, but I have seen rumors that there will be new releases for all 4 Chaos Gods and that they are just putting them out slowly to milk it a bit.

Very nice. Love the clean look of the metallics and the shading of the purple.
One thing bothers me though ... the sea dragon cloak and other scaled areas seem a bit too flat and monochome. It's a pain to do it, but adding a couple layers of progressive highlight to each scale would help a lot.

Yep - blood wrack stare is near useless because of range, multi shot and movement (or stand and shoot) penalties.
