Mix of rare, old and recently OOP Dark Elves for sale

Post by EvilUncleEd »

Greetings Gentlemen

I have made a brutal assessment of my miniature requirements in light of some recent design choices and price hikes by Games Workshop - and decided to chart a course that involves downsizing my existing Dark Elf collection in order to fund future purchases from a broader range of manufacturers.

This leaves me with a significant surplus of models that I intend to put on Ebay in a week or two. But I thought I'd give some fellow connoisseurs first dibs, and list them here first. Prices in USD based on what I've seen them go for on Ebay, postage will be additional (I live in NZ), payment by Paypal.

1 Limited Edition Standard Bearer on Foot - $40
- Unpainted and unassembled.
- Slight discolouration on model due to age, or may have been stripped before I got it(?)

1 Limited Edition Malus Darkblade on Foot circa 2001 - $40
- Unpainted and unassembled.
- This is the version with the seperate cloak from Games Day, not the really old Marauder one.

1 Morathi on Pegasus - $15
- New In Blister, only recently OOP.

8 Dark Riders - $40
- All New in Blisters
- 1 Champion with Sword and 1 Standard Bearer both of the older type.
- 2 Command of the newer type.
- 4 Troopers.

15 Black Guard circa 1995 - $45
- Were assembled and had a bit of a trim many years ago but are unpainted.
- 1 Champion, 1 Musician and 1 Standard Bearer of the standardized type for the era.
- 12 Troopers, 2 with Halberds lowered for the front rank, 10 upright.
- I also have a more recent Black Guard Command new in blister (which I'd throw in free)

21 Witch Elves circa 1995 - $40
- Loose, untrimmed, unbased (but have the bases)

1 Cauldron of Blood circa 1995 - $20
- Partly assembled but unpainted, decals still in box

32 Warriors - $40 (for both)
- 2 Sealed boxes of the Plastic Spearmen/Crossbowmen that just went OOP.
- Would prefer to sell these together (giving someone a decent-sized unit of 32).

2 War Hydras - $50 (for both)
- New, but the boxes aren't/weren't sealed - have checked no parts missing.
- These are the Chris Fitzpatrick/Trish Morrison sculpts, so OOP for a couple of years.
- Would prefer to sell together if possible.

I also have a bunch of 4th/5th edition Spearmen (24-ish plus command), Crossbowmen and Cold One Knights - if anyone is interested I'll dig them out as well. I'll also discount things a little for multiple purchases.

Finally, I have the Original Leading Edge Colonial Marines - both sets of 8 models unpainted in one of the original plastic boxes they came in. I'm guessing about $60 would be reasonable for these rare figures?

Evil Uncle Ed

Interested in the lot of Black Guard. Message me if you're willing to ship to Ontario, Canada and with an estimate.
Thanks! :)

Fr0: Will need to get an exact number, but off the top of my head $45 US plus postage to Canada would be about $66-70 Canadian.

stuaker: Sent you a PM; I work in Wellington so I don't think postage would be an issue :>)

No worries. I'm actually a little suprised at how many people have been interested in my old 5th edition models - the only early figures I'll have left soon will be Corsairs, Bolt Throwers and Cold One Knights. Is it just the prices of the new mini's that are causing disillusionment, or is it also the artistic direction of the newer ones that's an issue as well...?

Hello Again

I will be listing a 2nd wave of Dark Elf miniatures on Ebay early in the new year when the postal system is a bit less stressed:

* A 5th edition Sorceress on Pegasus, unassembled still in box. The box is a little damaged but the model is unscathed. Very hard to find!
* A 5th edition Beastlord Rarkarth on Dragon, unassembled still in box. Doesn't turn up too often either.
* 30 5th edition Corsairs including 2 Commands and 2 5th edition Reaper Bolt Throwers
* 8 5th edition Dark Riders, unassembled still in blisters.
* 6 6th edition Cold One Knights, unassembled still in box/blister.

If anyone wants to grab any of these items before they go on Ebay, send me a pm. If not otherwise, have a very Druchii Xmas...

Regards,
Evil Uncle Ed
