Its interesting to see them take dwarfs in a completely new direction from anything we have see before. It's kind of refreshing.

I don't really understand what you mean by this. Like I said before, I like these new dwarfs, but they're basically just better sculpted dwarf slayers. Allowing their heroes to ride big dragony things is the only thing about them that's really 'new', as far as I can see. The overall 'style' of the minis - their armour and standards and jewelery and so on - is still basically the same old Celtic-Saxon-Norse-mishmash look that WH dwarfs have had for years. Just with more flame motifs. You could use these minis in a WHFB dwarf army as regular slayers and they'd not look out of place (although getting them to rank up might be a pain).

All of which, incidentally, I see as a good thing. It means the 'Aelf Exile' minis, when they appear, will probably also fit in OK with all our old DE minis.

Hmm. The part it makes me curious about is how the new races are being updated. A few had a repack for a part of their range. Some were defined as a new race or a new sub group, like the Sylvanneth and now the Fyreslayers. I wonder if, and how they'll split the Exiles. Will we be getting our new fluff with limited model releases or none? Or will we be getting a new subfaction?
Sure, we have the Realm of Light and the Realm of Shadow. We even have the realm of life, but that one seems to focus on Sylvanneth in particular, and not so much the actual (Wood) Elves.

Perhaps we'll get a Shadow beast of some sort, to replace the Dragons? I wonder if they'll shrink the model range, or how they'll cut the model range in seperate, specialised subfactions. Exciting times ahead, for sure!

I don't see these guys fitting in my Dwarf army and certainly don't see my army riding big lizards any time soon.

There's a Warseer leaks on all Chaos factions.
Sorry for not posting it, I'm at work with little spare time

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, then. :) To me, in my entirely subjective opinion, these new Fyreslayers look just as much in keeping with the old dwarf slayers as the most recent DE warriors do with the 6th edition ones. A bit fancier and more detailed, but recognizably the same guys.

I agree the big monsters are entirely new, though. And very un-dwarf-like. ;)

I came upon this picture whilst browsing Warseer. Terrible detail on some of the parts of this model. Looks like an Autocad cock-up to me...

Just to dip my little fly in your ointment, you know ;) But I really do think these new Slayers are infinitely worse than their predecessors. I do like the new Slayer characters though (I won't type down their names) although like most of the newer models they're too far over the top for me.
Count them:
