Interesting to hear his comments. I can't say I disagree particularly, the game with very different back in the days of old with a great sense of humour and foreboding. A great world to explore in WFRP and especially the Enemy Within series.
That's not to say that I think the latest edition hasn't been one of the better games that GW has produced.
Times change and we have to adapt but if GW really believe people only want to collect models rather than game with them then they are able to get a very expensive shock.

I think the main part that sticks out for me is the impracticality of the newer models. Nagash, his montarchs, the new Verminlord and Bloodthirster (and even I have to admit the Khornate approach to chaos is getting downright lazy)...these aren't really models built for serious use in games on a regular basis (and it's not like they're modestly priced, either!).
