Hey everyone! I played my first large game with dark elves yesterday at 2500 points against vampire counts. The link to the YouTube battle report is shown above. It was a competitive game and pretty close until the very end.

My List:

LORDS
SS - dark steed, Ring of Hotek, Level 4 Shadow, Dispel Scroll

HEROES
Master - Pegasus, CoT
Master - Dawnstone, Potion of Strength, Cold One, BSB

CORE
14 x Witches - Musician

14 x Dark Shards - Banner of Eternal Flame
5 x Dark Riders - Xbows, shields, musician

SPECIAL
5 x Shades - Musician, Extra Hand Weapons
5 x Shades - Musician, Extra Hand Weapons
9 x CoK - Full Command, Banner of Swiftness
16 x Executioners - Standard, Musician

RARE
9 x Warlocks
10 x Warlocks

My opponent had something along the lines of

LORDS
Ghoul King - S7 attacks with +1 attack for each wound dealt (general)
Necromancer - Level 4 lore of vampires

CORE
40 x crypt ghouls
Lots of Zombies
2 x 5 Dogs

RARE/SPECIAL
10 x Crypt Horrors
6 x hex wraiths
2 Corpse Carts
2 Terrorghiests

Nice battle report! Wow, that spirit hos must have been his MVP unit! :P Still, you bounced back nicely after those initial missfortunes. Great game :)

He was MVP for sure. Now I know who to doombolt turn 1 :twisted:
