Shooting at large targets and targets on hills

Like tha title says, if I am shooting at a large target, I can shoot with all my models in the unit right? Like if I have a unit of 15 Warriors with RXB then that is 15 or 30 shots.

What if I am shooting at a normal target on a hill and I am on lower ground? Does the same thing apply?

Your hole unit can shoot at the large target on the hill, but I don't think you can do that with regular targets on a hill, unless I'm mistaken.

Best kill ever, Giant charges unit of 25 gnoblars, thats 50 stand and shoots, and one dead giant!

AFAIK you cannot shoot all your ranks at a unit on a hill... large targets are completely different and imagine them just... TOWERING over normal units

The rule book states that units on a hill follow the LOS rules for large targets. I think that's all you need to shoot them from every rank.

p.9, everybody found that one, interposing models, explaining the shooting at a large target rule.
Again p9, read the hills & elevated positions, explaining the the same rule for shooting a large target, for units on the flat shooting with all ranks at a unit on a hill.
p.26 explains that the first 2 ranks of a unit can shoot from a hill.

In short you can shoot from the flat with all ranks against targets that are large or on a hill.

this is very good information... I hadn't even considered these rules into my tactics. Just the old fashioned 10-12 RXB's finding a hill to stand on in 2 ranks and staying put. Now my oppentent's dragons will truly know fear.
