Couldn't find a post about this, but does anyone know what happens if Shadowfang chooses to hide in a unit that Wulfrik the Wanderer is deploying via Seafang and he is discovered while Seafang is still off-table?
Ah, I'm afraid you can't deploy Shadowblade in an enemy unit that isn't on the table!
Units that are not on the table cannot be affected or targeted in any way. So in this case you wouldn't be able to choose his unit to deploy in because that unit is not on the table!
I'm not seeing anything in Shadowblade's rules that says that he can't target a unit that isn't on the table, much in the same way Wulfrik's special ability could be used to mark Shadowblade.
if you rule that Shadow blade can be placed in a unit which is still not on the table (miners, tunnel teams ambushing beast herds etc) and he is discovered, the only possible way to play it is that shadow blade is destroyed
