Sacrificial dagger
Quick question. If I roll 1 die for a spell and get a 1 or 2 as a result, can I then add a die with sacrificial dagger and thus hopefully avoiding the spell always being considered a failure on dice total of 1 or 2, or am I not allowed to do this and the failure stands?
The rules say the spell fails if the dice rolled total 2 or less. The SD allows you to roll an additional die. If this brings the total above 2, then you don't auto fail.
The pellet with the poison's in the.Vessel with the Pestle.

Nowhere in the rules does it say that Giant's CAN'T fly.

You use the dagger after seeing the initial dice results and thus have not been resolved yet. SD can be used to prevent failed castings.
