Does Razor Banner affect Cold One attacks?

Quick question in the hope of a quick answer - there's some disagreement on a Google search.

Does the Razor Banner give the armour piercing effect on all a units attacks; i.e. do the cold one mount's attacks get the -1 AS mod, as well as those of the knights?

I don't see much grey area on this one. The item's description is that the UNIT has the Armor Piercing special rule. I don't see any reason why that would not apply to the mounts.
