Quick VC questions

Is the terrogheists shooting attack thing magical? No armour saves?
Does the night shroud dull down all magic items or is it just magic weapons?
Is beguile an innate ability or do they have to buy it?

Beguile is a vampiric power that has to be bought.

Terrorgheist scream IS magical no armour save

The nightshroud cancells out ALL str bonus from weapons, mundane and magical. It only affects weapons

Nightshroud only affect Models in base contact, so rank and file models that aren't in base contact retain Strength bonuses.

Also, you cannot use the ward save from the Cloak of Twilight against the Terrorgheist scream.

how come you can't use CoT? I thought the scream was a shooting attack?

It is a "special attack performed in the shooting phase".

I think the ETC ruled that if the attack is performed on range, CoT works, but if the scream is done in melee it doesnt work... But complete RAW, the cloak doesnt give you a save vs the scream. So best to hide the cloak character (and in fact all characters!) in dark rider units or similar.

Terrorghiests start with 6 Wounds, so thier scream is 2D6+6. However, they only sport a 6+ Regen as their save. Knock a couple of wounds off and prevent the VC player from recovering lost wounds and it's nowhere near as good.
