SPECIAL: Chariots

Post by Langmann »

I have found no ideas, other than the usual, remove stupidity (never happen).

Ld9 for charioteers? (probably not)

Option for Dark Steeds pulling it instead?

If COK would be dropped to 26 pts/model, COC should be dropped to 90 pts/model likewise.

If the BM would allow a re-roll for Stupidity, this would help to work around that problem.

No direct changes. They're fine.

Just knock off a few points as Thanee said. Also, if the crossbow option stays at +10pts, no sane person would ever take it.

Yah, 8 points IMHO. Though its kind of no point either way... the only way I'd take em is if they were free.

RXB option has to be 10 points (it's already on the cheaper side with 5 pts/RXB), there is no way to further reduce this.

I'd actually say it's on the expensive side as the chariot is meant for close combat, you're only going to shoot a couple of times, then charge in. Besides, isn't 5pts the regular price for a rxb?

Anyway, we could leave it like that, but no-one will take it like that or be wasting points. I don't like that.

When I use coc I never take rxbs 'coz I've never found them of any use. The chariots theirselves are ok IMHO, just work on the stupidity via the beastmaster.

Costwise, yes it would be nice to see them at 90 pts.

The regular cost for an RXB used by an elf is 6 pts, which is 1 point too many.

We could as well just drop the RXB option, because it just isn't very useful on a chariot, but the 10 points are right.
