im just about to go and i thought of this very very general idea for magic items. Feel free to delete this thread when uve read it.
Wot about making very cheap magic items that get rid of our weaknesses in exchange for lowering our strengths. DE would be into that sort of thing - getting a better strength of toughness for less WS or something... the points cost would cover the difference.
