Shameless Advertisement

Post by Kitrik »

Best Buy contacted me wanting me to advertise for them for the next month. I decided to give it a shot as I don't make any money on this site and it's about to start costing me a monthly fee soon here... So the advertisement is on the home page - feel free to click it and see what it's all about (and help druchii.net make some money at the same time!).

You can also click here...

Are you allowed to post the terms of the agreement? Perhaps we can figure out a way to maximize the profit/annoyance ratio (in our favor, of course).

It only counts UNIQUE clicks, so you only need to click once for each different IP address you have. So if you are on cable or DSL, you probably don't need to click more than once ever. If you are on dial-up, please - click everytime you visit the site. :-)

Just so you know. The little flash movie on the left side menu bar doesn't work in Opera. Don't know if you care, but if you do now you know. :P

I was at work, and saw the front page for the first time in like 6 months when not logged in.

Anyways, I see now it was a actually a change made. No worries, if you can get cash then by all means. ;)

Ok so this has got me completely stumped; I can't find the BestBuy advert anywhere, yet I'm dying to give it a click in the name of D.net. Speaking of which, my school library has an awful lot of computers with unique IP addresses...

They "discontinued" the smaller banner so I had to put a larger one up...
Don't worry - this will be gone in 2 weeks...

That's cheap! They get their foot into your camp, and then BAM! Banner triples in size, what you gonna do about it? Well, When you get down to it, it's not that bad. What you gonna use the money for, other than the server?

Ah! I was wondering why it had suddenly grown, if it's for the good of the site then I can put up with up although it does ruin all the formatting with everything on the homepage all neatly lined up.

In the words of Reel Big Fish: "Sell out, with me, oh yeah! Sell out, with me, tonight!" :P

Just kidding, I commend the dedication of anyone who volunteers the massive job of hosting such a site - Kitrik included.

I enjoy my time here (what little that has been so far) and would gladly donate, if only my dollar were worth anything!
