I think it's a kind of popularity contest on warvault so that people can vote for their favourite GW site. The only reason I can see to keep voting is to keep us visible at the top so people will come to this site.

I think we should also heed the first comment about us that some of the longer term members aren't that welcoming at times. With this sort of publicity it won't matter where we are in the list, no-body will want to come and join the community.

Warvault is currently offline due to having to change server (amongst other related difficulties).

It will be back though.

Actually, I think people more or less forgot about voting. Which is proven by the fact that unless you're looking at a different list, D.net is currently higher, with smaller sites generally being the ones further on up from there.

We are in 15th spot but have only a quarter of the number of votes as first. As said before there are people with a lot more time on their hands than us. I for one, can not really be bothered anymore. I used to, I used to be really into it, but now, I can't be bothered.
