Update: Internal Server Error

Post by Langmann »

Update 2008/08/24:

I am still working on this issue. We may be moving accross servers at some point in the near future which will result in site inaccessibility for possibly up to 24 hours.

Thanks.

All Dark Elves,

Sorry for the inconvenience of Internal Server Errors today and recently. Rest assured that I will always work to keep Druchii net operating.

An increase in site activity due to the new book has contributed in some ways to this problem. However the majority of it was caused by some internal problems with the Host Server.

I will work to fixing this issue over these next few days. I appreciate your patience.

Langmann,
I suppose I can say this on behalf of most of us reasonable people, F*** IT! I'm sure we believe you're all doing your best to fix this, and we all know how web hosting Co.'s like to mess with your head and/or f*** you over, especially when it comes to server charges and other related technical issues! All I can say is that, if you need to, the best way to threaten captialists is to threaten to cost them money! Perhaps if you reveal who this Co. is, then those of you out there who also get your internet service from the Co. could consider switching providers?! There's nothing wrong with legal, non-violent complaint or resistance(is there?)!

Anyway Langmann, rant's over, keep up the good work!
Regards,

NK.

Appears to have been working A-OK for the last hour at least.

Maybe it will last!

Still running fine.

I'm sure all d.netters are very grateful for your efforts and would quite happily send the assassins after the culprits if required.

I just got an internal server error right then. It was about 07:54 GMT +1000 if you need to look for something in the logs but I have no idea what my IP is.

I don't know if it's only me, but seems like the site is going back to how it was before the fix. Not as bad as before but I'm getting a couple of Internal Server Error and lots of lag.

I would still thank langmann for his awesome effort to fix the problem though. :D

Same here, just had the internal server error for some time and no progress in opening a thread.

I have gotten several internal server errors today also. I have also noticed it seems to be slowing down. Godd luck getting it back up to normal speed, and thank you for keeping the site going!

-crazyhorse

EDIT: fun note when it is giving me the error now it opens hundreds of other windows all showing the error message.
