when i right click them there is no 'save as' in the choices that come up. Nothing to do with saving what so ever...

Then you are obviously not using Internet Explorer. Sorry, but I have no idea what you have to do in other browsers to download files from links.

Well I tried to get the druchiifonts zipfile today but both links were dead

Also, is the Black Forge download section supposed to work?

It might be a case of pruning. Ie. If you've been inactive for 9 months or so your account gets deleted (ir maybe just put into default with 0 posts and all).
