Help against Treeman

Help against Treeman
I played wood elves in a past tournament and had a whole lot of trouble with a treeman. What tactics would you guys recommend for dealing with this big guy. My only ideas off the top of my head are bolt throwers and an executioners axe. Oh manbane/rending stars too I suppose. Is there any better ways that I'm missing? Treeman plowed through my hydra no problem and messed up 2 other units.

Just kill the rest of his army, there is simply no way to easily deal with them. SCR and what you mentioned does work, but its not very fast.
