Black Dragon Egg and Personal Challenges

Post by Blaznak »

Hello -

I'm so confused. But probably don't need to be.

Black Dragon Egg gives Noxious Breath.
Noxious Breath is a Breath Weapon Attack.
Breath Weapon Attacks resolve at initiative doing 2d6 hits on an enemy unit.
Personal Challenges state characters must direct "All of their attacks against each other"

So.
1) does the egg do damage JUST to the enemy you are challenging? or
2) does the egg do damage to the entire enemy unit and your challenge fights go off separately, or
3) Something else?

Bonus points for answering in the form of a Haiku or Dark Elf War Chant.

Thanks!

See the Eff Eh Queue
It's really helpful you see
Page five reveals all.

"Q: If a model with a Breath Weapon, Stomp or Thunderstomp is in a challenge, can these attacks hit models not in the challenge?(p102)
A: No."

These attacks apply
to challenge models only
Not the unit's grunts.

I hope you liked my
answer to your questions three

... and the worst part would be that a breath weapon, character, monster and thunderstomp together can only do champion wound + overkill...
