What can you advice in game with WE ?

Hi,

I often play against WE army and I need some advices.
This army is very fast and sometimes I have a lack of speed. :?
I think magic is very effective with WE army (fire or dark lore), isn't it?
For example chillwind on his GG. His treekins and treemans don't like flame also, if I take lore of fire.

Errrr... big blocks that they can't break and more shooting then he can muster?

Wood Elves kind of got kicked hard this edition.

Bascially have an answer to treekin and dryads, maybe a treeman. Treekin and Treemen hate Pit of Shades so taking regular old shadow is fine. Fire and Dark(lots of magic missles) is something none of them like either as they lose their ward.

Now answer their archers by possibly just shooting them back. Chillwind will be great against anyone fielding only one or two glade guard blacks(typically 20-30 strong).

fire is good, if you have a level 1 Dark, make sure she gets Chillwind (honestly. aim for archers, and ONE wound sinks half his shooting phase lol).

Another thing people seem to like is all the POWERFUL debuffs in Shadow versus the Treekin and then putting Sword of Rhuin on RXB lol

Also: METAL counts as flaming

Heck, I'd almost feel BAD if Occams went off after something like THAT

I'd say hydras, or start enchanting bolt throwers with sword o fRhuon (S6 vs T6, he's wound and he's bound to make 2-6 wounds with the flaming and flamable rules.

Thanks, I think an idea with sword of rhuin in RBTs is good.
What is better? One SS 4 lvl or SS lvl 4 and S lvl 2?

That's a tough question since it is dependant on your list and how much magic you want versus other units. I personnaly only take a level 4 with shadow for the hex's and mind razor and use the other points saved from a level 2 that would normally cause damage and spend them on lots of shades as I find they are always reliable to kil things whereas magic can be very nasty but not something that one can always count on.
