P. 97. Characters cannot join a unit of flyers.
Even with a hard core approach, there is an absolute minimum of one non-flyer - who could be mounted on a steed - to make the unit not a flyer's one.
Pushing the opposite side, the opponent might object that two pegasi would be found in the same unit at all. I'm not supporting that minimalist interpretation.
I'm convinced that no reasonable gamer would resent that two or more flying characters would join the same unit of non-flyers, especially as long as they don't touch each other.
If ever you make such a unit of 1 peg, 1 DS, 1 peg,
pay attention to p.101, charging out of a unit.
Most people interpret that if one character charges, the rest of the unit cannot charge.
Hard core players would argue that a second character can charge out of the unit, too, because he is not "the" unit which is prevented to charge. I do not support this interpretation although I understand it.

DS = Dark Steed indeed.
