The Watchtower Podcast: Episode Fifteen - Warhammer Fever!

Post by N.I.C.K »

The Watchtower Podcast has journeyed across the world and back to give you Episode Fifteen: Warhammer Fever!

http://thewatchtowerwfb.com

We’re back from the ETC and we can’t even spell fatigue… Warhammer runs in our blood and our fever is fueled by the upcoming Race to the Masters. Treble is sweating about the fact that he might not make it. Legrand is loving the fact that people in Australia can still look at his ranking and not think he’s a #### player (which he is). Mick has come home and remembered that he’s married. Bummer.

We discuss our antics and shenanigans in Europe, our triumphs and treacheries, our wins and our losses (for Legrand, mostly losses). In short, probably the single greatest warhammer journey of all time. Just putting it out there.

The Watchtower Podcast would like to apologise for the long hiatus of episode production. An episode 14.5 was created but subsequently vetoed. We possess the ability to empathise and the idea of inflicting 45 minutes of straight undiluted Legrand to you was pretty much unbearable. You’re welcome.

Mick and Treble have decided to join a slow-grow campaign in an attempt to wash themselves clean of the power-gaming filth that is the ETC by immersing themselves in a world of fluff and fun lists. First Empire list contains only 2 demigryphs. At 500 points level.

We also talk about Nagash and the End Times, possibly the most exciting thing to happen in the world of warhammer. Turns out GW hadn’t forgotten as after all. Shame they didn’t produce enough cards for even three people to buy. Or models that anyone earning the average wage could afford. Or a book that any self-respecting wargamer could lift above his/her own head with their respective scrawny limbs. Sounds like a fail to us.

And yet somehow TOTALLY A BOSS WIN OF EVER!

NAGAAAAASH!!!

We hope you enjoy our return to form and we look forward to getting into a more regular schedule. Leave some feedback, send us some lists, blah blah blah the usual stuff. Most importantly, keep playing warhammer and keep LIVING TO WIN!

As always, we are the Watchtower, and from up here, WE SEE EVERYTHING!
