I would drop the pearl from the knights as it does not protect from stupidity, just fear, terror, or panic. If you dropped a few corsairs in addition, you could add in an additional unit.

Harpies maybe? Interesting idea. Thanks for the tip on the pearl but I think then I will get the banner since I am terrible at rolling stupid chcks even on 9 ld.
