Post subject:  Dark elf 2k list, based on 6th ed battalion box

Hey Guys, With the recent release of the new dark elf book im trying to get my dark elfs back to a playing level. in 6th edition i bought the battallion box (as the list will show..) and now im working to get it to a 2000 points working army.

Here it is:

Supreme Sorceress 400
lvl 4, black Staff, Pendant of Khaeleth, Dark Pegasus

Sorceress 185
lvl2,Sacrificial Dagger, Dispel Scroll

Death Hag BSB 200

Standard of Hag Graef, Manbane, Rune of Khaine

10 Dark Elf Repeater Crossbowmen 110
Shield

19 Dark Elf Warriors 148 joined by lvl 2 sorc
Shield; Standard; Musician, Lordling

5 Dark Riders 92
Musician

5 Dark Riders 92
Musician

15 Black Ark Corsairs 190
Standard, Musician, Sea Serpent Standard

14 Witch Elves 215 joined by bsb hag
Standard, Musician, Banner of Murder, Hag with Manbane

6 Shades 108
Great Weapon

5 Cold One Knights 159
Standard; Musician

Reaper Bolt Thrower 100

It has a decent core of infantry, with the witch elves functionining as lawnmower. Shades and dark riders should mess up the enemies plans and the mobile lvl 4 sorc can play around with a magic lore depending on the enemy. The lvl 2 will probably take dark magic.

The magic base should be fairly decent with 3 PoD's and the dagger adding power dice (poor spearelves)..

Some shooting, but nothing overboard.

I think its a fairly balanced force, but i guess a bit vulnerable to shooting, but for an elf force has a decent bodycount. I need to protect my withelves the most.

This force is basicly all the models that i have from the battalion box plus some xtra blisters i bought back then and the dark riders im busy converting from glade riders (luverly horsies). I still need to buy the peggie mage.

Anyways, comments and critique wanted! :)

It looks well. Did you test it in plays?
