1,500 points of DARKNESS!

Hey there,

Just getting back into Dark Elves after a long absence, and wondering how the following would play out in this crazy new 7th edition world:

Heroes

Master: Hand Weapon, Heavy Armour, Soulrender, Pendant of Khaeleth. ------134
--Gave him Soulrender because I plan on putting him in the unit with the ASF banner. Could I give him a sea dragon cloak too, or is that not legal?

Sorceress: Hand Weapon, Focus Familiar, Level 2 ------160
--Because I need some magic? And the new spell/sorceress mechanic seems cool. I'd rather have an assassin but if I drop her I'll likely get hosed by magic...right?

General Plan: Keep the warriors as my center, with the BG and Corsairs on its flanks. Dark Riders on both flanks, CoK behind one unit as a mobile reserve. I'd put the reaper on a hill, or if that was unavailable, on a flank? Should my Sorceress be in a unit, or by herself?

Edit: Likely opponents include Brettonia, Empire, and Warriors of Chaos.

Comments/Criticism/general advice appreciated.

Depending on your opponent, I would consider putting your sorceress into the warriors. If they don't have any life lore of lore of athel loren, you should be just fine putting her in a forest and using the focus familiar to cast outside.

At 1500pt. I would consider dropping the banner of murder on the corsairs so that you can take a scroll. That could really help.

Also wondering--against dwarves, is it worth taking a sorceress or do they have too much anti-magic?

You can give your Master a Sea Dragon cloak, as far as I know.

I would drop the Sorceress and the pendant and give your Master the Crystal of Midnight and your CoKs the Ring of Hotek if you're worried about magic. A dispell scroll somewhere wouldn't hurt either.
