Two Towers, mark II

Greetings,

In light of the painting contest I'm redefining my Two Towers list. Originally, I had 3 RBTs (and preferably 4) but as I lack the RBT models, I'll go for a pair of RBTs and a unit of Shades.
It's a little less powerful, but perhaps more stylish and tricksy. It would also motivate me to paint my shades :)
The Sorceress remains a random character, with the options described below. I aimed for entertaining builds, rather than the most effective ones.

The rules are vanilla 8th edition.

220pts - High Sorceress, Level 4. Khaine's Crazed Blood Sorceress.

186pts - Master, Peg, Full armor, CoT, Lance. Sir Lancealot.
300pts - Death Hag, COB, BSB. The priestess.

383pts - 28 WEs, FC, Banner of Armor Piercing.
110pts - 5 DRs, Shields, Mus, RXBs
110pts - 5 DRs, Shields, Mus, RXBs

354pts - 27 EXEs, FC
140pts - 2 RBTs.
90 pts - 5 Shades, AHW. Assassin's apprentices.

175pts - Bloodwrack Shrine
125pts - 5 Warlocks
125pts - 5 Warlocks

Random loadout for the Sorceress - Roll D6

1 - Opponent's choice.
2 - Lore of Bloody Beasts, Book of Ashur, Ironcurse Icon.
3 - Lore of Bloody Life, Gem of Spite, Crown of Command (for the lulz)
4 - Lore of Bloody Shadow, Black Amulet
5 - Lore of Bloody Death, Talisman of Preservation, Dispel Scroll.
6 - Lore of Bloody Dark Magic, Tome of Furion, Ring of Hotek

"Bloody Lores can not be mistaken for their original counterparts. The words that conjure these spells of bloody magic are uttered with far more sense of drama."

Still looks like a strong and effective list ! This is your Invasion list rght ? I'm very interested to field my list against yours in the Invasion tournament when we finished our armies !

It seems like an interesting matchup indeed. All in all, my list still sports 4 vanguard units, a scouting unit and a flying unit which isn't bad for a heavy infantry list. But put that against your MSU and it may struggle to control movement. '

Where in the Netherlands do you live? Perhaps we can arrange a matchup :P

Delft, between Rotterdam and The Hague.
I suggest that whatever mods decide we eventually join or organize an tournament to field our Invasion armies :)

Well I certainly appreciate the idea, and invitation, but I'm afraid I have to decline :(. I don't have the (any) army sufficiently painted.. Which is a requirement for the tournament. I also still need to build the BWS, which was my goal for april or may. If I have to rush into building it now, I won't get any painting done at all.

It was a great idea though.. I'll keep an eye on local tournaments for the mid-spring time. I hope to have something presentable by then anyhow.

Do you have a local club where you play? If you do, I could perhaps invite another player or two from my group for the funsies.
