which magic lore to use? GT list

soooo, i'd like your opinion on what magic lore i should take with the latest incarnation of the baller squad:

level 4, dispel scroll, ironcurse icon, ToP
peg master, CoT, lance, mundane armour!
death hag, no items! BSB, cauldron of blood

5 DRs, musician, shields, xbows
5 DRs, musician, shields, xbows

27 execs, flaming banner, standard and music
28 witches, full command and razor banner!

5 HARPIES!!!
2 x RBT
WAR HYDRA!
KHARIBDYSS!
5 WARLOCKS!


ok so frankly i don't really know where to stick our fair sorceress. in the execs i think, and hope she doesn't die too quickly when combat starts. alternatively she can have a horse and go with the warlocks. hopefully cannons will be too busy shooting at my BIG BEASTS to go for her.

what say ye?!

Here's a neat trick. Replace the IC icon for dragonbane gem and give the unit the SS will go into the flaming banner. That way you get a 2+ ward against flaming attacks. Hee hee!

As for lore. Can't go wrong with Life magic.

Best and most fair sport way is to give her a horse and put her in one of the fast cav units. Maybe a scroll and some MR.

Ok she's in the warlocks now with the obsidian lodestone. And a horse. And a scroll.

what about light magic? pha's protection to help out the monsters...?

1 Vote for Death if comp allows. Can't support the monsters, but is another massive headache for your opponent to deal with.

I like death with a ld 10 lord character in the list. This make spirit leech more deadly.

The best set-up for death for me is in an avoidance list with Morathi and a second death sorceress (lv1-4) to boot. If managed well you can typically cast two ld 10 spirit leeches per phase. Your opponent will be able stop one, but not two.

Death also synergizes well with terror as doom and darkness is an RiP.

sorry guys - i forgot to mention that death is comped to only allow 5 dice to be used as a maximum. but yeah that only really affects purple sun i suppose, doom n darkness and spirit leech could still be used to good effect by a mounted level 4 in the warlocks. able to jump to dark rider unit if one of the warlocks gets killed (negating look out sir)
