Opponent finder

Hi
Any chance we could get an opponent finder set up. Searching via user names and locations doesn't really help.

That is only because people write "Northern Lustria in pink silks...." and such gibberish. I think the idea was rejected due to fears of stalking, pedophiles, and other such wonderful things. Still, it would be nice.

Couldn't it be otional when signing up
"Do you want to be entered in the search engine for opponent finder?"
That way we will get rid of the stalkers (at a law basis at least).
If you write in what town/city you live in, it would be hard for stalkers to single you out. A big city has lots of people... If you just write "Stockholm" for me. We have about 1.200.000 citizens here. I assume a stalker can't target me very easy
Just my thoughts about it...

I think you'd get a numerous number of people not bothering to lie on something like that (there will be some, but thats a true statement for anything). I'll admit, there are times I'd really like a shot at some of the board members (my ego kickin in).

No you don't do it like that.
You have a seperate forum. and people post any one live in london, or myanmar or what ever and then people PM that person and arrangements go from there. That way only the people who care need bother reply, its all volunatary and leaves room for choice. Also you get to choose if you want to reply to some ones cries for an opponent not just some one deciding he wants to meet up with you and stalking you.

Would be good if it could be coordinated with the high elf site so we get lotsa HE opponents.
