My post count (moderators please read)

This isn't something of major alarm to anyone but today I noticed that my post count has gone down from around 1946 to around 1939. I know it's not a lot and probably nothing to worry about but it makes me wonder, have some of my posts been deleted for some reason? If so I would like to know why. Thanks.

I'll move it to suggestions since Kitirk looks there more often.
Personally, I'd bet its just Kitrik cleaning things up from way back. Those of us from that age of the past are more liable to lose stuff to that sort of thing.

Possibly some admin/mod deleting topics that you posted in is my best guess if it only dropped a few posts...

have a vague memory of deleting some double posts by you /\\//\. dont think it was that many but i aitn the only mod.

as a general rule about loosing posts: it could be that some threads are deleted for sinking into flame wards/spam/content that is not suitable. etc so post counts will drop now and then without YOU having done anything in particular. if you are in deed repsonsible for those bad posts then you will also get a PM about it.
so unless you got a PM from any mod about your posts then dont worry.

Kitrik changed his poat count from 8500 to roughly 150 when he added the new interface. Don't ask me why...
Just as Linda said, don't be afraid when your post count frops a little. It is probably just a thread that got deleted, in which you had posted. Unless there is a private message waiting for you in your inbox, there is no need to be worried.
