i think this topic is pretty much over IMHO. so i see it like this

member rating 0
grammer/spelling 1

oh, don't we already have a kind of rating system under our names?
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted then used against you.

That's purely based on post count. You could have posted stuff that is barely useful, but not actual spam (and thus left alone by the mods). So you often have to take post count with a pinch of salt.

Yes, and if we would transfer to a sort of admin/mod-given rating system based on members who deserve recognition, this place would turn into a circle jerk of unseen proportions.

No wait, not unseen.

No offenese to anyone out there, but it is truly hard to beleive that peopel can actually make such a big deal about this when there is so much death and depresion in the world. I mean really people. Is this issue really going to solve the worlds problems? or are we better solving them in another way?

Again I mean no disrespect to anyone.

Well Lord Fear, after having been on this earth for a good twenty years, I have come to several conclusions:

1) Death and depression are constant and cannot be withheld.
2) One should not feel guilty generally about these constants, for they are beyond his comprehension.
3) Using death and depression as an instrument of measurement with which all other distress is measured, is unwise.

Yup, and fourthly Lord Fear, Damnation's link a few posts above is a great place to discuss that sort of thing! ;) I hear topics on depression and world problems are the latest big thing over there. :P
