I've been able to find how to view posts I haven't read yet, but I can't find how to mark all of them as read, as in: I checked the ones I'm interested in, now I'd like to clear the board for the next visit.
Am I being myopic or is the option missing?

Only on the subforum level, though? I recall setting them across the entire D.net board.
Maybe I'll try finagling with the URL, see what it does.
Edit: fiddling with the "f" query parameter tells me "forum not found." Aw.

There ought to be support from the system for this. If that's the case, then all it needs is a link. I'll look into it.

Excellent!  Thanks. Similarly, would it be possible to have the same "Mark all forums as read" on top of the page "View unread posts"? I did not make myself clear.  The idea is to help those (like me) who click on the page "view unread posts". After having a glance at all remaining unread posts, and having decided not to read them, it would be convenient to mark all of them as read, before leaving that page. That was my request. Done. That one was a bit more challenging. It actually required a mod of the search page, something to keep in mind in future patches and releases.
