Pretty Straight Forward All characters besides Nagash join the Grave guard Making them hit on 2's or 3's with rerolls. Horse Archers to block vanguard and redirect, wolves are there for chaff, Host is there because an extra drop seemed better than giving the necrotect any items.Hierotitan will be following Nagash around making him cast with anything from +6 to +8 Casket to add Power Dice, Catapult because its awesome.

Looks pretty solid, the only thing I'd do personally is drop the spirit host and up the grave guard numbers. Nagash can easily raise spirit hosts if you want some. Then you can get your GW for the wight king
I thought about that after I posted the list as well. Right now I am debating on your suggestion or dropping the host and necrotect for a scroll caddy.
Where are the tomb banshees!!!! :p And yeah a scroll caddy would be gold. Nagash doesnt like banishments... And playing games with legions I assume the lists are gonna be tailored. So I'll assume light councils.
No light council, while my opponent knows I am playing legions and nagash, he is playing brets and running the special character mage. The only thing that is going to suck is the 4 trebs aimed at nagash ever turn.
We were able to get 2 turns in tonight. His list is fey enchantress with 7 grails 9 grails 4 trebs 2 units of 20 archers flame 2 units of 20 archers no flame 40ish maa with bsb on foot and lvl 2 beast 6 yeoman 5 kotr Peg lord.
The legion got first turn. Moves: I hide nagash behind a building so only 1 trebs has los. Rest of the army moves up. Magic: has 11 horrors come up in front of both his grails. Fail to cast summon swarm store 2 dice. Shooting: skeleton archers fail to wound catapult blows up.
His turn 1 lord charges wolves, grails without fey charge horrors. Magic: he gets throne off scroll dwellers shooting: 1 treb with sight lands 6w on nagash. Others drop about 15 grave guard. Archers kill 1 unit of horses and drop another to 2. combat: lord kills 2 wolves, 1 more pops to CR thanks to nagash. Horrors take a couple wounds and deal 1 or 2 back
Legion turn 2 unit of 2 horses charge treb with sight on nagash. Magic: bad winds 1,1 casket gave me 2 more 4-2 dice. I use 4 to IF summon can and get 7 blood knights with champ banner and 4++ vs shooting banner. Miscast caused a wound on necro. Vamp signature heals 1 on nagash and brings the wolves back to full and lore heals another wound on nagash. shooting: lots of missing combat: bret lord kills 4 wolves last 2 pop to CR. horrors give and take a couple wounds 8 left. Skeleton horses kill treb nearby archers run towards the middle of the field in panic.
His turn 2. Moves: Lord charges nagash, fey unit joins in on horrors magic: big advantage for him 11-5 dice, he casts regrowth healing the 2-3 grails I have killed so far, gives his fey unit +4T, I save my 5 dice for his big dwellers, which he fails to cast, so I store 4 dice in my staff for the upcoming combat. shooting: uneventful think he killed 2 wolves. Combat: Bret lord and Nagash strike simo. Bret lord hits a lot(chosen of the lady +1 to hit) but fails to wound with his S6. I use 2 dice to give 2 HKB no 6 rolled but 1 wound got through, I ended up getting 2 strikes unsaved and with d3 wounds I slayed his lord. Because I killed the ladys chosen she takes a wound with no saves. in the horror/grail combat. after both his units attack I am left with 7 horrors, 2 have to go into the fey and manage another wound on her she has 1 left, the others kill 1 or 2 knights. I end combat with 6 horrors left.
I dont see this game lasting much longer. In 2 turns nagash has made his points back, 450 of horrors and 450 blood knights, and killed a lord. granted if he would have focused all 4 trebs on him turn 1 even with indirect he had a good shot at killing him outright. I like the undead legion army but I dont think I will be playing Nagash anymore just the normal combos between TK and VC.
Yes that was very ouch, he always has 4 trebs in 3k games but usually they go way off or misfire in the first turn or 2, this game first turn 3 out of 4 landed direct hits on their targets and one rolled a 6 on missfire so just a normal miss. but of course mine blows it self up the first time i try to shoot it lol
