The imperial guard chimera fire points questions. Help me!

Hey,

I was looking at the rule for the chimera fire points in the imperial guard book. it says that five models can fire from the top hatch. It then says that in reality several are firing from the fixed lasgun emplacements on the flanks....

Does this mean that:
1. I get 5 lasgun shots? or that
2. I get 5 shots from any of the weapons in the unit?

And if it is the second case, and I fire a flamer/heavy flamer, does the chimera then suffer a hit? (on a related note, does the chimera suffer hits from its own turret mounted heavy flamer?)

You get 5 of whatever is in the unit firing, so this could be 3 motars if you wanted.

You don't cause hits on your own transport vehicle with your own flamer templates.
