I just had a couple of questions

First off, how often do RPGs start and what is the likeliness of me getting in. Just curious because I recently edited my character to make him more like he is actually just starting out.

well the chance of a new group starting is slim you'll just spawn with one of the 3 groups that are functioningi dont know likeliness though fingol's group has some openings to my knowing

Hey I'm up for any group. It would be awesome to be in yours Fingol, but I understand if you don't. I may be completly new to this, but I have a feeling I will be pretty good. I just want a chance to see if I am up to snuff for this kind of thing. Plus it should really help my writing skills.

I'm pretty sure he was serious, since conventions are 80% of the battle at least

There will be two new groups soon. One will start this week or the next and the other will start a few weeks after that (if everything goes according to plan).

My group's been locked... I'm assuming this means it really is dead.

What should I do now?

You should have received a PM from one of the moderators explaining that the dead groups are now locked and that anyone who is willing to continue playing may repost his character in the creation pool. You may keep all the equipment and money that you gained while playing.

well ok do i repost my character even though i wasn't in group 7(i died)?

You still have a character in the creation pool. So no, you don’t need to repost your character (he is dead after all ).

Waiting sucks. But just think of how much fun it will be once we finally do get selected

As stated earlier there will be a new group. However before the moderator of that group can start he needs something from me, and… I’m really busy on the moment.
I think I can have it finished this weekend though (here is to hoping ), so he should be able to start next week.

Considering this thread is titled questions I thought it wise to post this here rather than starting a new thread about it.

Its the same question as before really, how long does it take before characters are chosen for a group?

I was on here about a year and half ago with the old group systems then (before they changed it to the random free for all thing that made me leave) and well, the groups seemed to be sorted out quicker then.

Sorry about this just getting a tad impatient. (ps if we really need it I wouldn't mind holding a group myself I do have a fair few storylines which I could use )

Let me begin by apologizing for the late reply. I was pinned down by school work. (and yes I’m sort off the only active mod )

Basically you get chosen when a new group starts or when a old group needs new players (like group 4).
Once this happens you will be selected by a mod judged on your character in the creation pool. If the mod likes the character he choices it, if he doesn’t like it you will be left for an other mod to choice.
There are ofcourse exceptions to this. A example: characters that are just unrealistic or over powered will never be chosen by a mod.

Soon there will be a post about solicitation for a job as RPG mod. Everyone may freely reply and if you live up to the expectations then you can become mod and start your own group.

Ah so its the EXACT same as the old system then...makes me wonder why they changed it in the first place.

As soon as I find a good way to test new mods I will contact you. For now I have got my hands full on making the existing groups work.

yeah it was in some real time thing, where instead of having groups they just had the actual areas, for example, Ghrond, etc. And quests were assinged from there.

It was shiz.
