OOC (out of character): Let's get going then!

Firstly I'd like to welcome you all, hopefully this group will kick butt! The group consists of:

kajchi
DarkenRho
t12161991
Khel
NoOoDLe

Secondly some basic rules and regulations (there is not much but they're important)

1) Your character's status will depend on your posting. I will injure and even kill off people if they're not pulling their weight in posts. Try to write at least a good sized paragraph for your posts - the more you write, the more I have to work with, which means you can do more things and better things.

2) Your characters are also not immortal. I will try and warn you against unwise actions, but as the main forum rules say, if you go against a chosen knight of chaos on your own, you will likely be turned into a pile of fleshy goo. The combat will be realistic

(Here the main rules end, but I've added some of my own)

3) As I've said fighting is realistic, so If you stab someone in the guts they are likely to fall on the floor and shortly die. Healing will be slow. (This is not to put you off, this is to make it a bit more challenging then the usual game of warhammer) The actual outcome of fights will mostly depend on your posting, but I will occasionally roll for outcomes, when I need to do so.

4) If you are going to miss a deadline, it is not a problem as long as you PM me or warn me in advance through your posting.

5) Not a rule really, but speech is in bold thoughts are in italics and combat actions/attempts to do things are underlined . Just helps to keep these things uniform.

6) Have fun! Thats the most important thing. Please if you have any problems or concerns, just PM me and I will try and help you as much as I can =)

Anyway enough of this monotony, lets get the adventure going.

IC (in character):

It was truly a foul day. The skies were torn apart by bursts of lightning and the rain was never ending. However, it was somewhat comforting to stare at the drenched streets sitting behind the window. The head clerk was sitting behind the reception room’s desk, he was rather bored, as usual. There were tons of papers to go through and check for the local regent. Don’t these damned elves have better things to do then to keep on producing an endless stream of petitions and requests? He thought as he shuffled another pile of scrawl covered manuscripts to the side. Something caught his attention. There was a note left on the top of the urgent pile. Who would have the audacity to put their notice on top of my… ahh it’s the regent’s note, what could that old fiend want? . The clerk, piqued by his interest, has decided to pause the monotony and pick up the note.

"I have put up a bounty notices in the city. Mercenaries should come to you today at midday. Kindly make them wait around for about half an hour, so that the latecomers arrive and escort them to my room. Do not let them steal anything. If I find anything missing I will bill it from your wages. The notice is attached below"

Indeed, underneath the note was a hastily written call for arms. Tens of these must have been hung around the city. Unfortunately this one appeared to be one of the later ones, where the writer’s scrawl was nearly totally unintelligible due to tiredness and a fast approaching deadline.

”High danger, high pay job. Mercenaries wanted for official services. Applicants should come to the regent’s reception and ask for details at tomorrow noon.”

The clerk lent back and groaned. The last thing he wanted is for drenched, foul smelling mercenaries to appear. Why would the regent need to hire mercs? He can call on the city guard… they’ll run circles around him trying to get his favour…

He didn’t finish the thought as several loud knocks resounded and a figure stepped through the door.

The clerk groaned again and hid his face in his hands… This was going to be a tough day…

OOC: Now its time for all of you to make an entrance.

Arkath had been walking around Vikarh for almost a month now, but no job was to be found. He was planning to leave Vikarh to see if he would have any luck elsewher. But then he found the flyer, “high danger, high pay” Hmm, not that bad, seems I’m having some luck after all. He thought. While he was walking to the regent’s office it started to rain.

When he Finally arrived, he banged on the door a few times and stepped inside. Looking around the room he saw a few seats. Right in front of him, a clerk was sitting behind a desk, his face buried in his hands.

Arkath walked to the desk, his sodden clothes dripping on the richly decorated carpet. I’m here for the job Arkath said while throwing the flyer on the clerk’s desk, only now noticing it had become illegible by the rain. While looking up, the clerk told him to sit down on one of the chairs, the others would arrive soon. Arkath took place on a black chair, decorated with a druchii rune he couldn’t recognize, after all, he had never properly learned to read the druchii script…

OOC: I hope it's up to standard.

OOC: Yeah sure man its a good post, keep it going. Just one minor point - its better not assume the actions of the NPC's, afterall I too need characters to control =P But overall its good!

As he walked along the street, Malkra was quickly overwhelmed by the immensity of the buildings, and the number of Druchii here. It was by far the largest city he had ever been in, and was unfamiliar with the place. Ducking under an overhang to escape the torrential rain for a moment, he saw a leaflet, advertising mercenary work. This looks interesting... I was trying to find a way to regain our power, and this would seem to be the way to do it. Walking quickly, he arrived at what he thought was the place listed on the flyer. He saw the door was just closing, and walked into the building. Immediately he saw both a clerk and what seemed to be someone else applying for the job. Hello. I saw this and was... interested. He said as he shook off his cloak. He then sat down to wait and check his repeater crossbow for any damage that the rain might have caused.

The clerk threw down his stylus on the desk. He spoke with a voice of annoyed man, who's work was constantly interrupted Yes yes yes I know you're interested ...why else would anyone go out in this rain?..., he mumbled to himself Go over there and sit down. You'll be invited to speak with the regent in due time

OOC: Your crossbow is fine, but as the rain season is on the doorstep, you think that heavy rain will be very likely in the next month, so it might be wise to wrap up the crossbow with more oiled paper then before when going out in the future

Arkath had only just sat himself down when a second druchii entered the building. "I saw this and was...interested." He said. Hmm, this one looks like has lost more fights than he has won Arkath thought. Signaling the druchii to come and sit next to him, he stands up and reaches out his hand to shake his. Arkath, nice to meet you.

Yes it is raining a lot isn't it? Could be worse though; at home you also have to watch out for wild hydras!

OOC: Greetings all!

IC:
Dhuan found himself yet again trudging through the streets of Vikarh during one of its abundant rainstorms trying to find work that would allow him to at least eat for the day. The rain had soaked his travel torn garments to the bone and Dhaun appeared to be oblivious to the elements that had wrought them so. He appeared very haggard having his hair strewn about his face and shoulders as well his armor had many scratches etched in numerous places. As he walked he gazed left to right along the way, stepping past a small notice board the words "high danger, high pay” caught his eye. "Hmmm... Interesting...", The pay was what he desired most as a means to get by, though he was also never one to reject a possible challenge. Glancing over the notice as to find the location of the job Dhaun pulled it free and tucked it into his robes. After some minutes Dhuan arrived at the place and entered to find a clerk attending to his work behind a desk, as well as two other druchii sitting at the other end of the room. Dhuan locked his focus on the two who arrived before him and began moving towards the desk. Before even waiting for the clerk to acknowledge him Dhuan slammed the notice on the counter causing an ink well nearby to rattle, "I'm here for the job...". Never moving his focus he continued towards the seating area and selected a chair that held its back towards the wall (This was a common practice of his knowing a certain druchii may be searching for him). With no more than a heavy "hmph" Dhaun sat himself down and eyed the other two suspiciously his hand resting on the hilt of his blade.

Saldrimek looked up into the sky. The dark foreboding clouds made it impossible to distinguish wether it was day or night. It didn't matter to Saldrimek one way or the other, he loved the rain. Saldrimek looked around, smelling the air as he did so. Savoring which may be his last breath of fresh air before he took the plunge. Saldrimek rummaged around in his robe pocket, fishing out the flier he had plucked off the alley wall earlier in the day. The rain had saturated most of the front and so making the message completely illiterate.

Crap. I hope this was the place it said to meet.

Saldrimek pushed the door open and walked into the warmth of the building. The place looked respectable, well lit and a neat little front desk (the receptionist was another story however). Saldrimek flung his hood back and let his piercings and facial hooks hang out for the world to see. Biting down on one of his lip hooks, Saldrimek's eyes met with the receptionist. Receiving a glare in return, Saldrimek frowned slightly before speaking up.

I'm here for the flier advertisement. Saldrimek held up the flier which had now turned into more of a wet, tattered rag. Seeing the others who had sat themselves down, Saldrimek decided to join them, noticing as well that some of them were also from the temple.

Saldrimek coughed before speaking in a more quiet, embarrassed tone. Hello, my name is Saldrimek. Pleased to meet you all. I hope we can all become mates during this journey. My last adventure didn't end to well and my group disbanded after we had attacked a marauder ship.

A hydra? That wouldn't be tha... And then Arkath stopped talking. Once again the door opened, A grey haired Druchii stepped through the door. As he walked to the clerk, Arkath noticed the scar on his right eye. The Druchii slammed the flyer on the clerk's desk. "I'm here for the job..." he said. I just know this guy's gonna give us some trouble... Arkath thought while the elf walked over to him and Malkra. He sat himself down with some kind of grunt, And just when Arkath was about to give a comment, the door opened for a fourth time. This time, a rather queer looking elf walked up to the clerk, showing the flier. He too sat himself in a chair. Hello, my name is Saldrimek. Pleased to meet you all. I hope we can all become mates during this journey. My last adventure didn't end to well and my group disbanded after we had attacked a marauder ship. He said. Saldrimek eh? I'm Arkath, nice to meet you. This is Malkra, and here you see mister hmph. Arkath replied.

Moments after Dhuan had seated himself another druchii entered, one covered in an array of hooks that covered his person. Now here's and interesting one Dhuan's eyes narrowed staring at the druchii approaching the desk "I'm here for the flier advertisement". He then walked over to the seating area and introduced his name "Hello, my name is Saldrimek. Pleased to meet you all. I hope we can all become mates during this journey. My last adventure didn't end to well and my group disbanded after we had attacked a marauder ship". In reply the one named Arkath said Saldrimek eh? I'm Arkath, nice to meet you. This is Malkra, and here you see mister hmph. Arkath replied. Dhuan with a tone of annoyance and malice spat "The name's Dhuan, best remember it" His grip tightening around his sword handle.

Arkath, Malkra and Seldrimek hmm... working with others was never my intention. No matter, all I desire is the pay. He closed his eyes attempting to keep his temper from surfacing.

This won't be easy...

tun tun tun....

Pleased to meet you all. Replied Saldrimek, nodding briefly.

Saldrimek's eyes flickered towards Dhuan just as his fist tightened on his sword hilt. Saldrimek hadn't tasted the blood of battle for a while and was dying for the feel of blood on his face. Glancing towards Arkath, Saldrimek could guess what he was thinking as well, them both being from the Temple of Khaine.

No need for the empty threats my friend. Smiled Saldrimek, the corners of his mouth twitching as the bloodlust within him flickered momentarily. We wouldn't want any bloodshed before our future employer has arrived. So let us just calm ourselves down and let us wait in patience, is that alright Mister Hmph? A large smile tugged at Saldrimek from behind his teeth but he bottled it away.

Absinthe slowly paced into Vikhar. The bad weather from the journey to Naggaroth had clearly reached land now. Ugh.. I hate rain. He thought as he looked for a refuge to shelter from the rain. The nearly abandoned streets seemed to stretch eternally with these downpours.

Seeing some sort of inn at the end of the street he rushed over hoping for the best. The innkeeper glared at him with a bit of an annoyed look as Absinthe came rushing in defiling the floor.\
He looked a bit more happy as Absinthe threw him a satchel of coins and left to hang out his clothes in his room. Arriving there he reached for the simple robe provided by the inn and took of his wet cloak and clothes.

He would stay here atleast untill his clothes dried. He had settled his mind on getting some kind of job around here so he went to the common room. He saw a bill hanging on the wall that seemed to have the function of a billboard as lots of bills where posted on it.

High risk High pay? Sounds proper. he thought as he read it. Seeing the date he was to arrive was the next day around noon he took it easy and waited for his clothes to dry out a bit.

The next morning he pulled on his clothes again and looked out of the crude window. The pouring rain only got worse over night.
Oh well.. Atleast my cloak will protect me somewhat.. I'll ask how to get there fastest. He thought as he strode over to the inn keeper.

"Hello, could you tel me how I can get to the regent's office fast?" He asked the innkeeper.

"Yes Sir Shade, it's situated about halfway in this street. To the left from here and it's at the other side of the street." The innkeeper awnsered.
Absinthe gave a quick nod and left. He ran over to the regent's office and got there relatively dry. He seemed to be the latest to arrive there as some other kin already sat there waiting.

"I'm here for the job..." Absinthe muttered as he shook the rain of his cloak.

Dhuan's composure was begginning to crumble even before the employer had arrived. His sword hand was shaking violently though then he noticed... Saldrimek became tense as well, the smile on his face gave it away. Dhuan stood slowly his head bowed and eyes still closed then moved toward Saldrimek. He muttered something so only he could hear As expected from the temple.. you have it too don't you? The same addiction..." His eyes opened and there was a crazed look in his eyes. He moved past Saldrimek and leaned on the wall near the door to await his employer when another druchii arrived. It was a shade...

Violent trembles? I'd never expect to see this from someone outside the temple. Very interesting.

Saldrimek smiled once again and little blood spots formed at the base of his lip hooks, showing the skin stretching under pressure. Loosing his smile, Saldrimek sucked thoughtfully on his bottom lip as the blood seeped by his lip hooks. Once the salty taste had disappeared, Saldrimek unsheathed his dagger, admiring its pommel in the light. At least these guys weren't as menacing as my old group. And hopefully our employer isn't as cold and ruthless as my old one too.

After a while, Saldrimek had grown bored and had started to pull out some of the many rings and hooks from his face and clean them, giving them all a quick rub on his robe. Once he had put them all back in, Saldrimek turned towards the group.

So what is everyones plans? Or what I mean to say is, why did you even bother showing up here at all? For all we know, we could be herded into the slave pits. I personally came here because the love of battle. Saldrimek eyes flickered towards Dhuan quickly.

My goal in life is to become one with the aspect of an Executioner. Yes, it will definitly be a long road. But I find the art of the Executioner much more exquisite then the path of the assassin. They don't have as much fun anyway as the Executioners do. Saldrimek's eyes rolled dreamily up into his head, contemplating the joys of himself watching an early morning execution before breakfast.

was Malkra's replyHa, this guy just has to be a joke, But I think I'll have to stop here, or I might even be denied the job... Good to know the khainite is on my side though...

And then the door opened, a shade entered. Then Saldrimek started talking, but only after disgusting him by puling out and cleaning all of his hooks.

Arkath flinched a bit when he said the word executioner, an image of the manticore flashed before his eyes and for a moment he thought he would go berserk. Luckily he got control of himself. Altough Saldrimek had lowered in his esteem... The only path for me is the one of the beastmaster. Roaming around the world, discovering new beast. Ofcourse, I will do all this only when I've finished my apprenticeship. Although i can't wait to travel into the lustian jungles...

As the mercenaries were getting acquainted and talking amongst themselves, the clerk was getting more and more annoyed. Who do they think they are, barging in here, looking like water rats gone bad and the ceaseless talking! With a burst of well rehearsed frustration, he threw down his stylus once again, causing the ink to pool unpleasantly on some petition he was reading. He didn't even care anymore, his table was littered with soggy fliers by this point and Khaine knows where those have been...

The clerk stood up suddenly, causing everybody to shift their attention to him. All right, all of you... whoever you might be , he added looking across the rag tag collection of wet adventurers. You are all here for the mercenary job. No point asking me questions about it - I do not know what our wonderful regent will want to do with you, so now if you kindly follow me to the regents office, I will be most pleased

The clerk headed to the double doors at the end of the room, knocked twice and opened them. After standing around for a couple of moments, he angrily gestured for all of you to get in.

Upon entering the room, the first thing that anybody always noticed was the presence of gold. It was everywhere, the rich rare wood cabinets were coated with the stuff. There were gold chandeliers, vases, tables, clocks, you name it. Yet somehow it all looked it a bit tarnished and unkempt. The second thing that anybody noticed was the regent himself. For he was a rather strange looking drcuhii. Obviously years of tax collecting duties have left him rather well off, giving him a few nasty gluttonous habits. He was an overweight sleazy looking individual, worth obvious health problems – his skin was covered in flaking scabs and his eyes were tinged with red. The regent coughed into a richly embroidered silk handkerchief and scratched his balding head, peeling off a particularly unpleasant scab.

Aherm... ahgh agherm. By the great father himself, what a wonderful collection of sell swords I have here. He looked around the five adventurers. A child of the wilds, a servant of Khaine, hmm a rather grim looking one eyed warrior and two autarii…

Yess, yes you’ll all do nicely. Now if you’re been clever little druchi, you’ve been wondering what that “official business”, that I want taken care of is. Well I am regret to tell you all that I have run into a little cultist problem lately. Yes I do regret that there are worshipers of the foul ones in this city and I need them to be taken care of. Why not use the guard, you might ask? Well I’m afraid this little coven is covered well somewhere high up. This is where you soldiers of fortune come in, my network of … ahem
At this point the regent was once again overcome by fits of coughs acquaintances. Yes acquaintances. They have found a single cell of the cult. Someone somehow noticed a certain irregularity in slave purchases for a certain household. On closer inspection we found some very, very interesting activities going on in the mentioned household. What I want you to do is to kill everyone inside it, but not before you find clues of other cells. You have to get the information from those cultists by whatever means possible. Do not hesitate to use the harshest means, these elves are servants of chaos and are below our contempt. Get me the whereabouts of the cult and then kill them all. You will each receive fifty gold pieces for this initial task, more awaits you if you do this right. Now go find the third house on the blooddrunk avenue, its near the slave markets. Here take one of these payment cheques, you will be able to cash them in on completion of your task.

The regent opened a little lacquered box and took out five fliers, detailing payment credentials and gave them out to the adventurers.

What are you waiting for go! Clerk show them out

With those words the regent sat down behind the desk and started scribbling away. The annoyed clerk has not too pleasantly has started showing you all towards the door, realising that it was raining heavily outside, you decided that it would be wise to stash away the precious payment slips as soon as possible…

OOC: Cultural note: A regent occupies a precarious administrative position with the dark elf society. He is responsible for most of the city’s finances, like tax collections and raid profit distributions. He also has access to the druchii guard force for the purposes of enforcing the local property and tax laws. However, he himself holds no political sway over the dreadlords ruling the city.

When Arkath finished talking, the clerk sitting behind the des stood up, throwing down hist stylus irritated. He thenwalked over to the group and showed them the regents room. He knocked twice and opened the door. The first thing that Arkath saw was gold, and a whole lot of it. It seemed as if everything in the room had gold on it even if only a hint of it Secondly, he saw the regent. It was an ugly Druchii. fat as a pig. Arkath averted is eyes when the regent scratched his head and a piece of skin fell of. Then, now and then interupted by coughing, the regent explained their task. After that, he gave all of them a payment slip, to be cashed in after the job was done.
50 gold for killing some cultist? Arkath thought And then the money itself... I don't like this at all. It's just a stupid piece of paper. It doesn't matter anyway, I need the money, piece of paper or not...

The regent dismissed them and the clerk practicly pushed them outside. There, he once again felt the rain pouring down on him. Feeling even worse after having experienced the warm feeling of a building. He put away the paper and started talking. So, how ar we gonn do this? Are we just going to walk over to the building and slay everyone inside or are we gonna use a bit of our brains Saying this, he looked at Dhuan. A skeptical smile on his face. I say we do the second, but i'd also suggest we discuss our plans out of the rain.

You reckon that there should be a tavern called "Hag's Head" or something like that in the next street or so, you can head over to there if you want

Shortly after the shade entered Saldrimek began speaking of his dream to join the ranks of the executioners. The mention of the title caught Dhuan's attention.

The executioners huh? He grasped the serpent pendant he wore around his neck and became lost in past memories.

Soon after the clerk rose from behind his desk which brought Dhuan out of his trance. All right, all of you... whoever you might be. You are all here for the mercenary job. No point asking me questions about it - I do not know what our wonderful regent will want to do with you, so now if you kindly follow me to the regents office, I will be most pleased.

Dhuan gave a heavy sigh and followed the clerk into a lavishly decorated room. The amount of gold within the room was enough to live three lifetimes by a mercenaries standards.

I wonder what form of druchii li... his thought cut off after finding the answer to his question. Possibly the most disgusting excuse for a druchii Dhuan had ever seen was standing before him. The sight caused him to scowl with disbelief. The regent clearly had a weight issue and to top it all off his skin was matted with scabs. Him? he may be wealthy but what a pitiful sight he is... Dhaun glanced at the others to see their take on what was in front of them.

The regent explained the situation surrounding the flier for which the group of druchii had met for. Chaos worshipers? Kill everyone inside...by any means? Dhuan began picking the pieces of information which intrigued him the most as a cruel grin widened on his face. I'll leave the information gathering to the shades, this should be most interesting...

The regent also explained the payment would be 50 gold pieces each and handed them all a cheque to be cashed after the mission had been completed.Fifty pieces? hm...sufficient enough though its tempting to just kill this glutton and seize his assets. He looks ready for the grave anyhow.

When the regent had finished the briefing Dhuan went over the objectives in his mind. Even though collecting information wasn't his ideal task he never left a job half finished.

The group cleared outside and Arkath was the first to speak. So, how are we gonna do this? Are we just going to walk over to the building and slay everyone inside or are we gonna use a bit of our brains Dhaun saw Arkath look in his direction. I say we do the second, but I'd also suggest we discuss our plans out of the rain.

Dhaun cracked his neck to shrug off the first comment before his anger returned. Perhaps...the tavern nearby should suffice. Dhaun gave a stern stare to Saldrimek before waiting for the others to comment.

As they exited the building, Malkra thought about what the regent had said. hm... seems like this seems familiar... oh yes I heard tales of these "chaos Elves" on my way here. I wonder what they are like in person Despite being lost in though, Malkra heard the others discussing their options. As Dhuan finished speaking, Malkra spoke. I agree that going someplace to plan this... venture would be a good idea. It makes no sense to charge anywhere without a plan, that will only get us killed. Saying so, Malkra pressed himself against the wall to hide from the rain, and wrapped his repeater crossbow tightly in waxed and oiled paper to protect it from the rain.

After the meeting with their employer, the group was quickly escorted outside into the bucketing rain. Feeling the cold coming to reclaim them, Saldrimek pulled his hood up, hoping that it might provide him with some warmth (Saldrimek was only wearing robes, and very revealing ones at that).

Saldrimek pondered the job itself for a moment. 50 gold was certainly welcome for slaying followers of the foul chaos god. But it did sound a little strange, but a job was a job. Any issues which arise from the job is another job within itself.

It is definitely wise to find some proper shelter before we go any further. Saldrimek winced as a rain droplet nailed him dead in the eye. I have... Something which could be called a plan, but I best explain it while we make our way towards the nearest establishment.

Saldrimek suddenly caught the long stare from Dhuan, the Khainite feeling a tad uneasy under the stare of this rage filled elf. Saldrimek smiled back, the best way of defusing a hostile situation is always with a smile. Even if you wanted to leap into battle as much as the other person did.

Right. My plan goes something like this. We should make use of the nearby tavern and make it our headquarters for now. Here is one of the most critical parts, we'll need to start tonight. As it is raining so heavily, the guards of this chaos cult won't expect many people to be on the rode. I'm also thinking that they will have relaxed their guard in so foul weather mainly because they are sick of the rain and long to be inside. Saldrimek paused and breathed in once more.

Two of us will then have to move out and observe... You could even call it recon if you like, but we'll need to gather information on the habitat of our prey before we strike. I'll volunteer to observe first, mainly because I love the rain and I observe that most of you do not. Any objections?

OOC: First I apologize to Arkath for the previous post it was rushed before heading to work, it is edited to correctly show him speaking first.

IC: Dhuan had listened to both Arkath's suggestion to head for the tavern as well as Saldrimek's plan for engagement.

hmm... That could work I suppose, though how quiet can you be with those hooks hanging from you? They may hear you approaching and raise their guard... In addition should two of us scout the area first then the other two should wait at the tavern as to not raise suspicion...which ever way the group is formed is fine with me...

Dhuan shrugged still feeling troubled by the fact he must cooperate with others, which had never been his strong suit.

Absinthe absent mindedly waited for something importend to happen. He wasn't much of a talker so he simply stood there and waited.
To the point where the clerk had enough and took them up to the regent's office. Lot's of gold decorated the room which seemed tempting enough but, so to speak, just out of reach.

He smirked as he heard the price. 50 pieces of gold for a few cultists? You got to be kidding me. There just has to be more behind this. he thought as he followed the other mercenaries down and out again.

"I agree a with going to a tavern to think out the plan. Maybe when were done this darn rain has stopped making infiltration of the house hold a wee bit easier." Absinthe said targeting no one in general.

"Other then that I volunteer for scouting." he added with a smirk.

Meanwhile Absinthe was getting very annoyed by the rain. Ever since he left Naggarythe rain had been pouring.
He hoped it was going to stop soon as it would make the simple mission of infiltrating a house to a nightmare as a wet shade was going to leave tracks and make dripping noise and neither were good for going unnoticed.

Good point Dhuan. I was just thinking about what our employer said. We were to find the third house on blooddrunk avenue. I'm not quite sure wether he meant that this place was the location of a single cult or it's the grounds of an actual house hold family.

OOC: Is this place we were going to an actual house hold? Or is it a normal house but home to cultists?

You don't know what the house looks like exactly as you've never been, but you recall that the area is mainly a residential area for the middle class druchii. So it is likely to be an averagely sized house - about three floors high at most. This is only a cult "cell" its not likely to be big.

As the rain begins to intensify you all rush off to find a tavern. Its not a long walk, but you still get quite wet even from walking such a small way. The tavern itself is pretty good, although the name makes you wonder, how on earth it wasn't burned down during death night. As you enter the dimly lit drinking room, the stench of sweat and spilled alcohol hits you in the nose.

You all head off for one of the bigger tables as the barmen warily squints at your arrival. So not the friendliest of places, but a start anyway, here you can plan the assault on the cultist hideaway in relative warmth and safety.

OOC: Damn, I knew we were going to end up in a tavern at some point... =P
