Fuelled by the rush of combat, time seemed to slow. He leaned backwards and the rat's spear thrust forward, missing his neck by millimetres. In return he swiped at the creature's eyes with his torch, but the blow was off target, singeing the side of the rat's head instead. The beast shrieked angrily and thrust once more with its ragged tipped spear. His balance regained, Talahisior stepped aside and brought his sword across and downwards in a diagonal ark, the blade splitting the skaven's skull.

Squeaks and hisses echoed all around mingling with curses and war cries from the party. The ratmen were increasing their efforts, and it was unclear how many of the flea ridden rodents there actually were. Ahead, the tunnel was enveloped in darkness, the sounds of battle resonating off the claustrophobic walls. "All this noise will surely attract half of the Under Empire" he thought to himself, feeling slightly irritated. There seemed to be far worse things roaming the island than Skaven, recalling the dismembered arm. He had a horrible feeling they were going to meet it.

By some small miracle, all had survived the initial attack. Broken bodies littered the floor of the passageway which was growing sticky with blood. The conflict in defence plans had allowed the rats to gain a footing, yet the druchii had prevailed, their skill and hatred cutting down their assailants. With no need to assist Kailleth, the zealot of Khaine instead scanned the tunnel with his fierce brassy eyes, his sword held forward, the torch held aloft.

The captain slew a rodent nearby with his dagger, and then ordered that Talahisior follow him. The others among the group were also given orders, and Talahisior wondered if any of them would follow, based on his experience fighting with them so far.

With a grim nod, he dashed forwards to accompany the reaver, and positioned himself to the captain's left side. The torch was held in his right hand, his sword still in his left. "Khaine, bring my foes to my sword that I may spill their blood in your honour", he invoked silently to himself. Then with a fierce roar, he threw himself with renewed vigour into the fight.

Talahisior has joined the reaver in the front and is ready to attack the rats with his left short sword. He intends to cut his way through the Skaven with cruel slashes and slices of his short sword, using the torch to burn if he has to. He will try to parry any attacks with his sword.

After his grim ordeal with his first assailants, Evazorek was glad to be once more stood tall and prepared for combat. He reacted well when the situation had called for action but now he was in his element, shield in front, arm sword held ready and marching towards his foes with renewed hatred.

The Captain had called to him as he passed to follow him and cover his assault. Evazorek needed no more encouragement, he wanted to make these rat men suffer. He sprang into action following the captain into the darkness.

Evazorek will advance forward in a defensive stance keeping close to the captain and preparing to protect his flank should rats try to overwhelm him. He will use his shield to bash opponents away and slice any that remain close with his sword.

Please note that in my last post, i ended up putting you in combat with two rats. what tactic are you gonna use to defeat those two? and since you are in combat then how do you answer to the reavers order? Also try and think if you take the initiative what kind of moves will you do? how do you expect the rats to attack you? stuff like that..

Nardiz brought his shield from left to right blocking the trust form the rat, and Nardiz then bunched the rat knocking it back and giving him time to get his sword free. Just as Nardiz got his sword free the rat tried to stab around his shield which resulted in a minor scratch on Nardiz’s left arm, which Nardiz hardly noticed. With the sword free and the rat unprepared, Nardiz stabbed the rat in its eye killing it instantly. Nardiz went into the defensive position he had learn from his farther, waiting for the next rat to attack. The rat stabbed at Nardiz’s head and with great ease Nardiz lifted his shield blocking the attack, and trusted under it. Surprisingly the rat was faster that Nardiz’s blade and managed to get away before Nardiz’s sword hit its crotch. Nardiz hear the reaver telling Talahisior to follow him ‘what are you up to reaver? Trying to create a gap on our left flank?’ at the same time the reaver pushed himself between Nardiz and Evazorek ‘oh a wedge? Not a bad idea. Wonder if Äriël and Kailleth will complain again, seams it’s the only thing they are good at.’ ‘I am with you reaver’ Nardiz says as he starts advancing. Nardiz slams the boss on his shield into the face of the rat opposing him and with a horizontal slash from left to right, he tries to sever the rats head from its shoulders.

Nardiz will slam his shield into the face on the rat in front of his and then decapitate it. Nardiz will then move up behind and to the left of Talahisior and use his shield to push any rats back and out of balance and will then follow up with a stab to the rat’s throat or a vertical slash from above into the head or shoulders.

I’ll hang you by your bloody guts if you even dare to think I’ll obey orders that are as insane as your own. I know Skaven are a problem within the Empire, but the best is to watch our step. We’ll die if you do otherwise, and rushing isn’t what you call keeping your head down. Äriël thought, hearing the third suggestion of a wedge. ”You seriously don’t understand the flaw in your plan.” she said to herself, a whisper not meant for anyone else. Quickly resolving the rat that attacked her with a block of the sword, and quickly scrapped the wood off of it as she pushed forward on the spear. Brute strength applied, it threw the rat down on the ground. Slowly walking toward it, she placed her boot on the rat as he attempted to run away and stabbed Grim Sever through the neck. However, the movement of air coming from her back gave something away.

Quickly turning around, Steel Bender proved its worth once more, as a spearhead jumped off of it, giving Äriël the time to withdraw the long sword from its fleshy confined space and return to the offence. With a vertical slash, she severed the tip of the spear from the rest. After the destructive slash, she bashed out with her shield once more, aiming for a spot proving to be an disadvantage for the long nosed creatures. As it fell to the floor, the noise of skittering claws gave away the approach of yet another rat incoming. Quickly turning to the noise, she gave herself a quick glance over the battlefield. ”Kailleth, are you familiar with fighting back to back, or in shieldtrom formation?” She asked toward Kailleth. Not knowing the name to be true or not, her guess was as good as anyone’s. Slowly walking backwards, she reminded herself of the possible still alive rat, who might attempt an attack once more. Seeing the warrior with the bow gaining a wound once more, she couldn’t help but to restrict herself from laughing. Thinking bad about me is one thing. Not having the luck or skills to back them up is a different thing. she thought, keeping a steady surveillance of her surroundings, and whereabouts of her ‘companions’.

She’ll move toward Kailleth while maintaining a close eye on the approaching rat and possibly stunned one as well. Suggesting a back-to-back battle plan, for they both wield a shield and they both shown an above average dislike toward the Reaver.

If the approaching Skaven makes a jump for her. Catch it with a shield bash, backed up by a sword.

OOC: Btw, if you(senluthan) would like me to swap the extra weapon skill for any other point, I shall.

Other than that, SUCK IT NARDIZ! XD Just kidding. Äriël is a very… stubborn and strange girl. If she doesn’t like you the first moment, she won’t like you the rest of her/your life.

Evazorek will Put his shield up and advance on his two assailants steadily. Not wanting to risk another desperate struggle he will keep his shield firmly held in front and perform thrusting attacks at the rat men to try and force them back or injure them so that he can follow the orders he was given and back up the captain.

Once the ratmen area defeated he will form up on the captains position and support his advance.

Prologue

Post by Senluthan »

OOC. Sorry for the wait. I had to prepare a preach. And then all this with Carathyle took some time and focus.

IC: The reaver rushed forward, he quickly killed 3 rats. Talahisior followed him so they stood next to each other and killed rats as it was a dance for two and the rats didn't move at all.
Talahisior knocked the first one around with her torch, slashed for the next one, who dodged her sword just to fall for the reavers. Now in front of the rest he had space to dodge backwards and around spears.
So just after he dodged backwards from a spear and closed in to the rat afterwards, with a cut decapitating the rat.
After he killed the rat he looked for the next one, but all the rats choose to move away from him and the reavers dangerous swords. And go for the druchiis right flank, Äriël had opened. Äriël had choose to walk in behind the druchii to hopefully make a back to back with Kailleth. But before Kailleth had the time move in and cover her back the rats swarmed in from the gap she had maded.
Quickly three rats were at her, pushing her back, but it was not for nothing she was a good swordfighter. She killed one of them by deflecting its spear with her shield and make a clean hit with her sword. But while she killed that one another two had gotten behind her, So she now had 2 rats in front of her and another 2 behind her. And even though she were good she fell with 2 spears in the back. Just as she fell she made a large scream, which informed the reaver that something bad was going on. So he shouted a curse and continued:

That bloody hag. Nardiz you and Talahisior has our front agains the rat i have our flank, Kailleth and Evazorek get those rats behind us killed so we can make a slow retreat that way!

Evazorek was in trying to advance, but with his defensive fighting, he couldn't touch the rats, he was able to dodge and deflect their attacks, but couldn't touch them. Not until the reaver killed one of them from behind. That made the other loose focus for a short while, giving Evazorek the opportunity til stab and kill the rat.

The rat Nardiz was fighting had seen the many of the first rats get bashed with the shield, and therefore was prepared for the shield bash. So it dodged around the shield, and made thrust to try and hit Nardiz. But as the skilled warrior he was, he deflected all the thrust with his sword. And in pure frustration he finally choose to kick at the rat, and not even a rat like to be kicked between the legs. It made the opening Nardiz needed and he quickly cut its throat.

Kailleth was in a one on one fight, he and as he parried the spear, and just as he went in for the kill another rat thrusted at his exposed side, giving him quite a wound, nothing he couldn't fight with, but one that could influence him in the long run. He suceeded though in breaking the spear with his shield. And he quickly killed the weaponless rat.

Frontline one step back! The reaver shouted.

So Äriël is down, not necessarily dead yet, Nardiz and Talahisior, it is you responsibilty to hold the front line, what type of attacks do you do? Or is it solely defensive moves? Evazorek and Kailleht, you have to kill the four rats behind the group. How do you plan to do that?

Kailleth heard his shirt tare as he parried the spear and it glanced of his side, swinging his shield and just missing the rats head Kailleth span on the spot and brought his shield to bear and crouched to gain a defensive stance, two soon became one as a rat fell to the ground a head shorter then it was earlier. With only one rat to face Kailleth grinned and flexed his sword arm. Kailleth planted his left foot and dove forward with his shield in front and his sword behind. At the last moment Kailleth dropped to one knee raising his shield and trusting his sword in to the rat’s chest. As he trusted he felt a searing pain in his side, he vaulted sideways sweeping his shield across his side snapping the spear that had wounded him. Rage coursed through his veins as he saw a second rat standing with half a spear in its hands. Kailleth lunged at the rat keeping his shield at his side facing the first rat and driving his sword through the skavens head crushing its skull,

The momentum of the killing strike cased Kailleth to stumble and fall. Through luck he was able turn the fall into a roll and came up just behind the rest of the group and next to a motionless Äriël, kailleth gasped in pain as the wound in his side troubled and his anger subsided, Kailleth heard the reaver shouting and understood the task at hand. Seeing 4 rats in front of him Kailleth moved up stepping over Äriël to stand between her and the rats with his shield in front and in a low crouch. Kailleth kept his sword low and his breathing raged to exaggerate his injury. Hoping the rats would take him as easy pray and make a mistake.

Kailleth will keep in a defensive stance and wait for the rats to attack if they are sloppy and get to close kailleth will spring into action delivering a back handed slash to one rats throat, and try to smash one with his shield,

The reaver and Khainite fought side by side, blades gleaming in the torchlight. The group was hard pressed. "Is there no end to this swarm of vermin?" Talahisior thought to himself as the tide of rats swelled around them.

Swinging his torch at a leaping rodent, the creature squeaked as it's fur caught fire, before rolling on the floor in agony and succumbing to the flames. As the smell of cooked flesh filled the tunnel, another of the rampaging Skaven came at Talahisior, who slashed at the rat with a backhanded blow. The enemy narrowly missed being split asunder, but its survival was not to be as the Captain slew it with a strike of his own sword. A spear was thrust at Talahisior, who nimbly arched backwards, the tip passing him by inches. He regained his poise in an instant, and recovering his guard, sliced the rodent's head from its shoulders, a fountain of blood spraying upwards from the creature's neck. The Khainite's eyes gleamed as he wiped the blood from his face with the back of his sword arm; the headless Skaven staggering forwards a few steps before falling to the floor.

Looking for his next opponent, he scowled as the ratmen made for the right of the party. At last the Skaven had noticed the disorganisation within the druchii group, and were capitalising on the weak formation. Instead of following orders, it seemed the red-eyed female was doing her own thing again, leaving their flank vulnerable. The swarm of rats headed straight to her and the warrior that stood back-to-back. Thinking she could handle herself, Talahisior was surprised to hear a gut wrenching scream, and quickly turned as the warrioress fell, two spears protruding from her back. Unsure of whether she still lived, he heard the reaver yell the command to step back. He did so as the warrior nearby kicked a rat in the groin, and then cut its throat with a quick swipe.

Talahisior turned to him with a grim expression. 'You don't seem the type to want to meet Khaine just yet.'

With a laugh, he threw his torch to the ground, the flames casting long shadows of the melee on the roof of the cavern. Talahisior drew his second sword, and twirled the two blades about his body. They sang as they cut through the air, and as Talahisior prepared to make a stand, an expression of pious joy fell over his face.

'Let them dance with their doom!'

Talahisior has taken a step back and intends to hold the front with Nardiz. He has both swords drawn now and intends to fight aggressively, twirling, slashing, and stabbing any rats that come near. He does not care about pain or death right now as he is experiencing a religious high!

Nardiz punches at the rat with his shield trying to stun the rat, but felled nothing when it should have hit the rat, quickly he noticed the rat was coming around his left side thrusting it’s spear at his side. He turned and caught the spear with his shield, bringing it out to the left and with great hate he kicked the rat between the legs. The rat gave out a high pitch sound, which was ended with Nardiz’s sword in it’s throat.

Nardiz hear Äriël scream out in pain and looked over his shoulder to see her fall with two spears in her back. He then looks over to the right and sees the cap there, ‘so Äriëls betrayal will lead to our doom?’ he then hear the reaver give order him and Talahisior to hold the line while Evazorik and Kailleth clear the rats behind the line ‘The line will not fall reaver!’ he sees the reaver go out on the right side. Nardiz holds his place in the now oddly shaped wedge, and prepares to defend himself and Talahisior and more importantly the groups left side. Nardiz hears Talahisior speak to him and says ‘you got that right, or at least make a mountain of dead enemies before I go’ Nardiz swings his sword and shield wildly, so that he might scare the rats. Or kill those that get too close.

Nardiz will follow the reaver’s order and hold the left side. He will swing his weapons wildly, trying to scare the rats so they back off and give the group a little room to fall back

The group of druchii were hard pressed. Nardiz and talahisior kept the frontline, and managed to scare the rats, and kill those that came to close. Kailleth and Evazorek pushed the four rats in the back behind, however before the fell, one of them managed to give Evazorek a wound in his shield arm.
By the Reavers guidance the druchii slowly moved back into the cave, and the further they went down, the more the stench and fewer rats dared to challenge the party.
From the retreat Nardiz managed to kill 3 rats, Talahisior were on 5, Evazorek 1 and Kailleht 3 as well.

As the rats attacking were fewer, and the rats behind the group was killed the group made on long line, with the reaver in the middle, with Talahisior to his right side and Nardiz at his other side. and Kailleth and Evazorek kept their backs safe.

Around there Evazorek said Reaver you gotta see this, there is a mystiorous light at the end!

The reaver gave instructions to Nardiz and Talahisior that they were having the front while he took a look. And not long after the party ended up in a big cave around 5-6 m to the top and around 30-50 m to the other end. The mysterious light came from a pond in the middle aound 10 m in diameter. Äriëls naked corps was placed on a small island in the middle of the pond.
On the walls, there were markings with blood of different prayers to gods of chaos. and at the far end, there were another opening in the cave.
There is the biatch the reaver said and continued with a grim look: How about it guys, should we take a look at that mysterious pond and see what we have here or are you afraid?
As the reaver took a couple of steps in, every step he took kicked up a bit of dust, but not just normal dust but with a bit of white in it as well. And where his footprints were, there were a red/black colour and the earth mixed up.

So you have arrived at a big cave, Äriël is in the middle still possibly not dead, If anyone have a good idea to what is going on, feel free to ask or inform the reaver. And if anyone wants to go back, feel free to try that who knows you just might succed...

OOC You are welcome to describe how you killed your final rats on the walk. But the important thing now is the cave, and what you do.

'Rrraaaagh!' Talahisior yelled as he brought his swords together and sliced a skaven nearly in two. Only the breast plate prevented the animal falling into pieces, the vicious slice leading the rat to a screeching death. The zealot nodded approvingly at the warrior he had learned from the reaver's command was named Nardiz. 'Hold them back, retreat steadily, and you may yet live and see that mountain of dead enemies.' he laughed.

As a singing sweep of his right sword split the top of a skaven's skull, his left sword arced downwards and cut into the throat of a third rat. The fight had breathed life into Talahisior, the essence of the dead washing through him like a sublime wave of euphoria. Sullen and quiet until now, his brass eyes gleamed, his thin lips were curled into a feral grin. Each slain rat was a prayer to Khaine, each drop of blood a holy libation.

As he stepped backwards once more, a rat thrust at him with its spear. Talahisior parried the blow with the flat side of his left blade, and then sliced down with his right, cutting through the wooden shaft. The animal observed the ruination of its weapon angrily, before running at the druchii with claws flailing, its drooling mouth wide open. Talahisior lowered his stance and lunged with his right sword, punching the tip upwards into the rodent's mouth, through its palette and into its brains. The druchii struggled for a moment to withdraw his sword from the creature's head and a fifth ratman took this opportunity to attack. As the elf wrenched his blade free, he barely had enough time to parry a slash from the beast's spearhead. With a sweep of his left blade, he cut across the animal's shins, bringing it to his knees, before stabbing it in the eye with his right blade.

The retreat had gone well, the rats diminished. Talahisior could see his torch back down the tunnel, lying on the floor. As it flickered out, the flame gently strobed and illuminated the terrible toll they had reaped upon their enemies. The zealot paused to catch his breath, his heart pounding in his chest.

A shout from the warrior with purple armour, caused him to turn around. It seemed that their retreat had brought them into a large subterranean cavern. At the centre was a glowing pool, and lying limp on a small islet at its centre was a naked Äriël. "How humiliating," he thought, "she won't like that."

The zealot gripped his wet blades and looked about the chamber cautiously. The glowing water illuminated the cavern walls, ripples on the placid surface playing with the light. Strange markings of forbidden gods were daubed on the walls in blood. As the reaver stepped across the dusty cave floor, a strange powder was kicked up by his footfalls, and Talahisior was hesitant in following.

'Captain, I would advise caution. Our dear companion didn't get there by herself. I suspect this is a trap, and she the bait.'

Talahisior stays where he is, just inside the cave. He thinks it is a trap so will not disturb the pool or Äriël. His blades are still drawn in case more Skaven (or worse! :P) turn up.

Nardiz deflected a blow with his shield and heard Talahisior speaking to him, and with his spirit razed by the man fighting next to him he replied ‘He he, oh you can count on me!’ As the group backed further down the cave the herd of rats got thin by the groups bloody swords. How ever Nardiz did notice that some rats at the back of the herd turned and ran, with something looking like fear in their eyes. ‘Is it us they are getting scared of? Or are we headed towards something else?’ the last few rats in the herd looked at each others and it seamed that they decided to charge one last time before leaving the battle. The rats charged and were cut down with great ease by Nardiz and Talahisior.
The group continued deeper into the cave and not before long Nardiz heard Evazorik speak about a mysterious light, Nardiz looked over his shoulder and saw a glowing pond with a small island in the centre with what seamed to be Äriël laying on it. The reaver started walking towards her as Talahisior warned about a possible trap, ‘I am with Talahisior on this one sir. I mean why would they go thru all the trouble of getting her down here if it isn’t a trap of some sort’ Nardiz said. He then turns to the rest of the group and says ‘I am having a really bad felling about this. Remember the arm the Talahisior found? I think its owner might have been down here, and not by his own will.’

Nardiz will stay with the rest of the group and look around the cave for any signs of an ambush. Nardiz has his shield ready so that he might catch any arrows (or other flying items) fired at him or anybody near him. Nardiz will occasionally look back in to the tunnel they just came from to see if there is anything coming from there.

The reaver turned around and saw at the druchii and said:
It is obivous this aint' a trap. It is probably more like sacrifices to something. And if you noticed the rats slowly stopped following us. Probably they are afraid of coming here because of what normally is here! So the question is how we get back through the rats. My quess is that they will swarm us if we go back to where we came from. So we probably have two options to fight our way back, fight whatever comes here, and hope that by killing that the rats let us go! or continue through at the other side.
After having spoken the reaver contiuned in the big cave, and looked on the different markings on the walls. before also heading in and taking a glance on the pond.
If you read this, you notice one of the markings is a sorcerous marking. My suggestion is you convince the other to flee!
So the captain has shared his thoughts.

OOC: I suggest you spend the next couple of days talking and finding out what you want to do from now on.
I expect all of you to have posted at least once before thursday (deadline wednesday night.). But i might wait with mod till the conversations have ended. And who knows if the reaver joins the chat as well.[/u]

Kailleth waited for two of the rats to advance on him as he lay in wait, as one rat circled to the right the other came straight at him. Kailleth grinned as he threw himself forward knocking a spear out of his path and driving the top edge of his shield into the jaw of the rat in front of him, kailleth howled with joy and pain as his side lanced with pain, but the sound of a sating jaw and the skavens last death squeak, luckily Kailleth span to the side covering his side with his shield trying to Quell the pain, but at the same time accidently blocked a dagger trust from one of the other rats, Kailleth still riding the wave of pain slammed his sword into the shoulder of the rat making it crumple into a cleaved heap on the tunnel floor,

The rest of the fight blurred into a constant motion as the group traveled down the tunnel. Then the group came to a wired chamber which baffled his senses, Kailleth slumped on the wall, grasping his side as he watched the others, Kailleth then trough his shield over his back and drew his second swod and turned to face the door to the chamber muttering, if I dei here it will be with my swords in hand and kaines name on my lips.

Kailleth has drown both his swords and is standing by the door, if any rats of things come through the door he will start swinging his sword in an interlocking figure 8 pattern and try and hold the door

’Do anybody have a bandana and some water? I have seen a few wounds in my time with the army and as a minimum Kailleth needs a bandana to stop the bleeding. And does anybody have any kind of training in healing? Because I don’t have any, however I do know how to put on a bandana.’ Nardiz said to the group, he waits for an answer before cleaning the blood of his sword and sheeting it again. ‘Well if this really is a sacrificial chamber what about setting up an ambush and wait for whatever might come to feed on that body. I know it isn’t the druchii way but I would rather fight a ‘monster’ here that in a narrow tunnel.’

If anybody (including the reaver) can supply water and or a bandana, Nardiz will go over to Kailleth and dress his wound.

The zealot wondered what had made the reaver so sure. He stepped deeper into the cavern to get a better look around, noting that the symbols on the wall seemed to radiate an energy of their own. The place stank of corruption, yet Khaine's blessings would protect him. 'Considering that our being here is entirely accidental, might it be an idea to find our way back to the surface?' He asked.

The one named Kailleth was bleeding. The short haired warrior was making efforts to help and enquired whether anyone was skilled in healing. Talahisior grinned to himself, recalling forbidden rituals in Har Ganeth, but rather than share these memories, he walked towards the pool to hide his smile. 'I am trained to kill, not renew.'

Talahisior crouched on his haunches, placing his left blade down for a moment. Taking a handful of water from the glowing pool, he rubbed some of the dried rats' blood from his face and hair. The blood washed through his ashen hair lending it an unusual tint. 'Plenty of water here, warrior.'

Chatting away. His guard is lowered.

'I'm sure it's fine.' Talahisior replied, scooping more of the water up and gulping it down. The cold water had an earthy, almost stale taste to it, but it still gave relief from the thirst he had acquired. The Khainite stood back up, grabbing his sword, feeling far more refreshed. He walked slowly to Kailleth, noting the blood stains on his armour. 'How bad is it? Can you still fight?'

Oops! Drinking the funny water!

Kailleth looked over at the reaver As he laid out the groups option, he sighed as he thought it over, well we go and die in the tunnel or fight a unknown enemy huuuuu well let’s see what who’s behind door number two. Kailleth then heard the warrior and kainite talking and noted that his wound was a topic of interest; Kailleth looked down and saw the slow trickle of blood dripping from the hole in his chain mail and could fell the stressed would,

Kailleth looked up as he heard the kainite ask him if he could fight, with a ghostly grin Kailleth said “well I’m breathing so fighting should be easy, as for the wound… it will need tending but I might make it to the ship if I don’t open it up any more, it’s in kaines hands maybe if I pile enough rats at his feet ill make it to fight another day,” kailleth laugh at the morbid thought and slumped on to the wall ones more.

Nardiz walks over to Kailleth 'Look Kailleth you will not be of any use to this group if you bleed to death, which i would estimate will happen within one to two hours. I can understand that you trust in Kaine, but have you thought about that Kaine might have sent me to stop your bleeding? and would it really hurt your pride so much, by letting me put a bandana on you?' Nardiz will then turn to Evazorik 'And what about you Evazorik? I noticed that while we where falling back, there was dripping blood from your arm. Would you mind me putting a bandana on it, to stop the bleeding?'

“I think you may be out of touch when it comes to the ideology of kaine,… he doesn’t send healers to help. But if you think you can mend this” kailleth lifted his mail shirt to expose the wound, “go right ahead."

'Yeah you are properly right Kailleth, maybe you could teach me some day. That is if we live thru this mess.' Nardiz goes on tarring strips of cloth of the bottom of his tunic and uses them as a band aid, stopping the bleeding from Kailleth's side 'okay that should work, you will most likely have to get it changed when we get back on the ship but it should hold for now'

Nardiz will turn to Evazorek and if he is allowed he will use a few more strips from his tunic to stop the bleeding from Evazorek's arm

The druchii were taking their time. Conversing a bit about the glowing water, and tend to both Kailleths and Evazoreks wound. Pretty much as Nardiz were finished with their wounds, a cold voice spoke.
But the only one who understood what was going on was Talahisior who heard:
The intruders found their way here on their own. Those useless rats. Can't they even catch a prey abd sacrifice it to my beautiful? You understand me? Did you drink of the water? I might have some use of you!
It was a tall, pale and very slim man, clothed in black and darkred colours. He continued with a loud yell
My Beautiful there is dinner for you!

A frightened rat scream followed from the tunnel they came from, but it stopped shortly after, The druchii hurried away from the tunnel, although Nardiz had to drag Talahisior with him, so they stood with the mysterious man and a way to continue on their left side and the tunnel on the right side.
And after a short while, that seemed like hours to the tense druchii, a big viper appeared. It had black evil eyes, it's tounge moved in and out to smell the air. It stopped what seemed like only half way in the tunnel, which would mean that in total it was around 6 m. Its scales were black with a faint blue touch.
It continued out of the tunnel slowly, until it had its body in a circle and its head up in a 2 m height.

This is the scene, the reaver is in the front and you three is just behind him. Talahisior you can speak to the mysterious man, and you can try to speak to the other druchii, but it is not sure they understand what you say. I will decide how much. You can completely understand what the druchii are saying... still... And you don't see the viper as a thread!
Nardiz, Kailleth and Evazorek you have no idea what the man said. And I will edit Talahisiors post with a small note on the bottom what you understand from what he is saying.

Evazorek looked up at the enormous serpent in front of the party for what seemed like minutes. The beast was truly a monster rearing up a full two metres coiled up on the remainder of its buik.

With his wound tended but still causing him discomfort, Evazorek knew he would not be able to block a lunge from such a large monster. He informed the rest of the druchii band of this but still offered to take up point in case the beast attacked.

He might not be able to withstand a blow from the snake but at least he would survive it, some of the others with little armour might not even register the killing blow they suffered.

Evazorek will inform the other party members of his situation and his tactical evaluation of the situation whilst still maintaining a defensive stance ready for an attack. if the party agrees he will move forward and take point for the party in case the snake attacks.

'Khaine favours not the weak.' Talahisior replied to Kailleth. 'So let us hope your fight back there pleased him.' The Khainite glanced at Nardiz who was tending to Kailleth and Evazorek, then to the reaver.

'We should get going, it's not a good idea to stay put. Those rats will smell our wounded a league away.' He wiped his blades on his tunic and sheathed them as he waited to see what would happen.

Before the captain could reply, a thin figure entered, mockingly accusing the Skaven of incompetence. Robed in dark red colours and black, he spoke with a rich and powerful voice. Mesmerised, Talahisior began to drift forwards towards the stranger. Nardiz pulled him back, and he yelled angrily as he was dragged away from the tunnel.

'Let me go! Get your hands off me!' he cried, digging in his heels. He paused for a moment as a great serpent slowly appeared in the tunnel. The zealot gasped in awe, admiring the magnificent beast. He began to speak to the strange man, and then to the great viper. 'Yes, I understand you, wise one. The others are blind. They do not comprehend their good fortune in being chosen. She is... she is beautiful!' he exclaimed. 'Come, come closer, this way. Yes, you shall feed. Here!'

With that, he ceased his struggle and pivoted on his heel, grabbing Nardiz by his elbow and attempted to throw him in a hip toss towards the giant viper.

Talahisior is under the influence of some strange power and is trying to feed Nardiz to the snake.

OOC: Sounds good Sen! Hope my post's alright.

It is, since you doesn't talk to the druchii after the man have arrived, they understand everything except ofc the part where you talk to the serpent.
