Challenge, challenge! Fight, fight, fight!

That was the idea to challenge him :P
but the idea with the dagger/chain combo is to throw the dagger at him to distract him from the chain.
...
It sounds messy but i have a very nice write-up in mind ;)

Yep, it is on my urgent to do list. Workload has pretty much curtailed most of my activity on the forum for the last couple of weeks. Oh the joy of multiple new perfume launches (very manly job :) )

Will definitely get a post up over the weekend, sorry for the delay.

It is no trouble. You can keep the post very brief if this helps. I do not think there is anything in your background you really have to mention.

Well that didn't go to plan. Post will be editted within the next hour.
Been a weird couple of weeks, think I have been in more hotel rooms in these last few days that in the previous year. Hence my general lack of forum presence.
Life should settle down now for a while.

You set a tough example to follow  I'm really impressed you can keep those poems up.

Oh yeah and also. I did hand in tuesday afternoon, after which I went home, had sushi with my gf and brother, and basically passed out half past 7, and slept for nearly 11 hours. Now all I have to do is write a paper about my findings (for free, since I have no income anymore :badh: ), and then defend the thesis in a month and a halfs time :burns:

I agree, this is probably the best post I have read from you Thraundil. You squeezed so much in the few paragraphs, hatred and loathing and anger and desperation and maybe even a want for a good word if not care or love. Great work, really.

You and Searinox are putting me in a difficult situation, you know. It would be very nice if someone recognized you based on your latest posts but how to arrange this to let it appear at least somewhat plausible? :D

Searinox, your posts are nice as well. Perhaps you have not written something of extraordinary style lately (though I feel this is very difficult in a fighting scene - my combat posts are not world class, either) but, well, the hatted man was originally supposed to be such a skilled duelist that he would beat any single enemy to a bloody pulp in no time. According to my notes, even Searinox plus Analya combined should for example not suffice to defeat him. But you keep coming with such good ideas that I just cannot let the human go to the offensive. So that is an accomplishment, too. :)

Thanks for the compliment! :D but in the past fightin scenes used to be my specialty xD so its more a personal thing im hitting myself over the head with i guess :P
And i nvr expected the Hatted Man to be an easy target, neither did i expect him to be that strong

To be honest I love Searinox' fighting descriptions too. You can totally picture whats going inside your head, and you can hear the clinging of the chain when he threw it.

Also - appreciate your kind comments :D now that the thesis stress is out of the way, I'll have a little more focus of mind. At least until the defense approaches. http://xkcd.com/1403/

Mod post up - having a free day has some nice consequences. :)

@ Thraundil: Yes, in the past days I was remembering about all the webcomics with the theme of PhD studies, theses and such. :) I assume you can survive some procrastination now? http://www.phdcomics.com/comics/archive.php?comicid=558 Just beware, the entire archive is huge. :D

By the way, I hope you are going to rock at the tournament.

Good mod post as usual :) love how easy it is to see where everything is happening (at least I have an awesome fight scene in my mind :P )

I sadly underperformed at GF. Not helped by a horror matchup in game one, and getting diceraped in game 4. But thats how it is, I played 3 really good games, one average game and one default-loss game so I'm pretty happy with my own play. Not so happy with the lists performance or my score, but thats what it is. I had fun most of the time, and was allowed to completely forget the thesis for a weekend :)
