Simple question here, does anyone play DoTA?
For those that have never heard of it or know very little about it, Defense of the Ancients is a Warcraft 3 mod involving 3 paths (lanes) on a map with 3 towers in each lane and usually up to 5 players on each side all controlling one character (there are 90 something now) with 4 abilities/attacks/spells, etc. that gains levels up to 25. Objective of the game is to make into the enemy's base and destroy their main tower that is protected by two normal towers all the while fighting enemies and trying to kill them. New maps are always coming out with improvements, new characters, items, etc. with AI maps coming out a bit more infrequently, but none the less let you play by yourself or with just a few friends against the computer. Online wise the game is run through Blizzard's Battlenet servers which very rarely ever drops the ball, at least when playing dota, and there are usually many games always ready to go for the most part.
