New to it ALL!
I'm new to Warhammer, mostly. I played a few games the other day with a friends Empire army and Beastmen army. Needless to say I got demolished by his High Elves in all three games I played, but I had a blast. I now have a light-hearted hatred for High Elves and thought the Dark Elves would fit that perfectly.
I'm playing next week and I've come here for ideas on how to kick ass with the Druchii. I want to taste my friends tears. I want to see him grovel and call out for his mum... while I laugh
Anyways. Hello!

Hello and welcome,
Tasting your friends tears is the way to go. Your nascent game will get a boost reading the articles on the site, particularly the Art of War here
P.S. You might want to get some Harpies. They can come in handy.

Re: New to it ALL!
Thanks! I'll be sure to give it a read.
I used some harpies when I played Beastmen during one of the games. They were about the only unit I was impressed with. Cleared a great eagle, a bolt thrower then ran/flew away.

Harpies are useful.
But it was also an in-joke with Coop and his mid-western pronounciation of Harpies as "Herpes"
i.e.
I got diagnosed with Harpies!
How do you catch Harpies?
Facial or genital Harpies?!
etc
etc

Oops that went straight over my head.
Facial Harpies sounds frightening. Although having a harpy any near you genitals would be equally as terrifying.

Haha, cheers to Harpies!

This has become the weirdest "welcome" thread to newcomer I can think of.
