Alrighty, I have significantly re-worked the entire Dark Elf catalogue reference (although it remains a work-in-progress).
Feast your eyes here:
The preslotta era:

The Marauder era:

Everything else:

Note that the Bob Naismith line of Dark Elf figures made for 3rd edition Warhammer predates the Marauder era, and that eventually I plan to re-jigger the organization of information, so that each distinct generation of figures has it's own reference.

Once again, I have reshuffled the data (and added a few more pictures). The reference is now broken down into eras corresponding to releases of the Warhammer game, so the preslotta generation of figures is linked to 1st/2nd edition Warhammer, the Bob Naismith line of figures is linked to 3rd edition Warhammer and the Aly Morrison line is linked to 4th/5th edition Warhammer. Limited Edition and Unreleased figures are now tied to the specific era when they were made (although they can also be found grouped together elsewhere on the Wiki site). Secondary lines that contain Dark Elf figures (Blood Bowl, Man O' War, Talisman, Warmaster, etc.) now have their own references. Here are the links:

Note that I haven't gotten around to filling in the Man O' War and Warmaster sections yet. I've got the figures, but it's a nuisance dealing with such tiny pieces...
Be sure to click on individual pictures to see painted examples, variant sculpts and concept art relating to that figure (where available). Also learned commentary from yours truly... .

firstly, that is a vast list, and now i know where my trademe models come from / what they are
which raises this question; can i use marauder DE spearmen (i think they're spearmen) in GW games, and can i convert them into Black Guards to be used in GW games?
EDIT: PS. THANKS!
pps. anyone know how i can get their shields as well?

You’re a wreck, an accident.
Forget the freak, your just nature.
Keep the gun oiled, and the temple cleaned shiz
snort, and blaspheme, let the heads cool, and the
engine run. Because in the end, everything we do,
is just everything we’ve done.
