Druchii.net

OK, so I have asort of a compulsion about painting; I simply can't paint an armoy to look like something I have seen done in the corresponding army book. I guess it just feels wrong to me so I try to go out of my way to come up with alternate color sets for my various projects.

So I am starting to assemble the first pieces of my furute Druchii army, and that makes it time to start thinking up a color set.

That said, I was thinking it would be cool to have a thread where druchii players could each post one pic of like a spearman as an example of their army color scheme. That way we can all see what others have come up with and most importantly of all (Yeah selfish I know, sorry) I acn just look at one thread and see all the wonderful ideas others have had, and maybe find something I like, or something that inspires my own creative juices.

So, let the posting begin! (even if yours are purple, LOL)

Well here's my company standard and some executioners. Not finished but you get the idea (I really like red and all my armies have red somewhere)

I'm working on a winter-themed DE army. I plan on posting a new thread for the army when I finish more units, but here is a sample of my color scheme (blue and silver):

The red is actually very deep and closer to blood than the pink in the photo. The rim of the archer's shiel will be steel when finished.



These girls obviously have no use for clothes, but will have gold jewellery in their hair and on their bodies.

My army ("The 16th spect of Khaine") is very black and red with bright Mithril Silver weapons. I painted it a long time ago, so the skill I had back then was pretty poor. Flat colours and some inking was about all I could do at the time.

Hey, that is a good topic !

In my opinion, the GW's coleur scheme is really...ugly.
(Mmmm, maybe it's because i hate pink too -> The two colors of Slaanesh...)
