Why did you paint their skin blue mate?
But beside that, very nice army. And nice paint job. I like your dark rider champ!

@Arcturus: Thanks, I will give it a go on the executioners I'm currently painting up and then touch up the stuff I have already painted! I appreciate the advice

@DE Warrior: The pillars are actually from the 40K ruined urban terrain that they sell. Its an addition on the sprues, and I had alot left over from the buildings. As for the avatar, I actually didn't pay a penny, it was my friend's old avatar which he gave me (hence the existing paint job)

@Kurl: I painted them blue as my original intro to dark elves was everquest and later D&D. In EQ, dark elves are blue. I guess this just stuck with me. Yes I know many people will tell me that my army is not Druchii etc, but if you think about it all of these games and what not bastardize each other, so I figured go with what I'm used to. That being said I am playing around with the skin tone currently, and its looking like I may end up using a more grey tone, but I'll probably leave the models currently painted blue alone (except the sorceress).

They are very striking, and well painted.

But (you are going to kill me for saying this) the first thing I thought when I saw the blue was "My god, evil smurfs".

Each to their own though. As long as you are happy with it, that's all that counts.

Hello everyone.

I have definitely been slacking on the photos, it has been due to a lack of a camera. I have tried to make due with my iPhone, so apologies for the quality, but after a long time I am almost finished the army, only one more unit of dark riders, crossbows, and WE and I am done a fairly big army.

You have been busy! I really like your chariot, spears, and marching Khaine banner (that's my favourite depiction of the Bloody Handed One

). The sorcerer looks very interesting!

@Saori: When the rest have been completed I will bribe one of my photographer friends to come over and take a picture of them on my game board with terrain/the tower and the whole army.

@Nightcall: Thank you! I have always loved that image of Khaine as well and tried very hard to freehand it, but personally feel like it is not nearly the quality level I wish it was. The sorceror is based off of my dark elf wizard character in everquest 1, but warhammerified (except my whole army got the everquest dark elf skin colour
