Well it's been a while but at least I'm still making progress. Here are the first unit of Dark Riders....

I've also touched up the skin tones on this one. I think it looks a lot better now.

Hopefully it won't be too long before the next update.

The Dark Riders do look fantastic, but unfortunately the picture quality leaves me guessing as to what horse was used. Is it the regular dark steed with some green stuff or another model? Either way, they look splendid.

Thanks both. Yeah sorry about the pics, a new camera is on the xmas list.

As for the horses they are W/E wild riders with no modifications needed.

They both look great! From these photo's the DR's look like a gold base with a red wash?

Very close, not a red wash it's brown ink then a simple burnished gold highlight.
I think it gives a nice warm gold colour.
