I hope to continue my work next week, or the week after, when I finish the dreadspears. Then I plan to continue my warlocks.
But first.. I'll try to paint my Khorne Lord from the AoS starter kit. I just finished his first basecoat.

I have plenty more Dark Elves to paint so this will definitely continue for a long, long time. Some of the pictures are fading because they are over a year old or so... which just shows how slow a painter I am ;)

You have to take your time to ensure good quality.
Things are not done right when rushed. Unless you are a pro, of course. xD

Finished the Dreadspears. Still have to do the command, which I'll do next week.

Some of the best highlighting I've seen. I wish I was half as good.

Glad to see you stuck through this project. I can't wait to see how the command turns out. What's next on your Dark Elf agenda?

I really like your painting style, even simple core troops are looking exceptionally good. Waiting to see more of your Druchii.

Thanks a lot everyone! I started ten Corsairs for the month. Well, tbh, I started them years ago but never got past the cloak and faces. So... I started by touching up the cloaks and the basecoat on the armour. After these are complete I'll probably do another ten to compare old and new style.
Image
The colours are a bit off. The cloaks are supposed to look a bit more turqoise.

Incubi darkness as base coat, then Sotek Green, Temple Guard blue and a final highlight on some edges with Fenrisian Grey to reinforce the waving effect of the cloak.

Also like the classic female chassis.
