I have started my conversion already :) I had a couple of long very dull meetings this week and put the time to good use by doodling some ideas - time well spent
Can't wait to find out who my recipient will be so I can arrange the colour scheme.

I have had a couple of questions about subject matter, in reply

Your gift can be anything you like - a Unit, Mighty Lord, War Machine, Single Model so long as it fits the Druchii theme. Try to do some research on your members army and create something you think will compliment it.

So we have not had any new entries for at least a week - do you think it is safe to say that we can kick start it off with who we have. There are currently 13 members registered for the event.

If nobody new has jumped in, I'd say it's probably safe.

You COULD do a "last warning" type of post, say if you've been thinking about it but haven't made up your mind, you have until midnight Thursday, or something like that. But that might even by extraneous - it's your show. :)

Did you make sure each participant had a PLOG?

I don't think a plog should be a prerequisite for participating, but it'd certainly make it easier to ensure whatever I paint fits into the recipient's army if they have one... It'd be even easier if everyone doing this who does have a plog either links to it in this thread or at least makes sure they're linked to in the plog collection. :) As to whoever I'm lucky enough to have sending me something, my plog's linked in my sig if you'd like to have a look. ;)

The discussion on PLOGs prompted me to update mine - pulling together some other threads into one one PLOG - now must take some more photos of the rest of the army, esp the Sisters I am currently working on.
See my signature for the PLOG link.

Without giving anything away, let me just say that I feel incapable of matching the quality of work of the person I've drawn. Ridiculous skill and fantastic conversions in this person's PLOG.

But that said, I will do my best. I think I'll try to do a rank and file infantry model, so it can be hidden in the back row if necessary. :)
